- A new CBS News poll shows voters from both parties are concerned if President Biden can handle another term, with three-quarters of voters saying he should not run for office again following last week's debate. A large majority cite his age as their reason. On Thursday, a special edition of "America Decides" on CBS News 24/7 looks at voter concerns.

Framing this as an age issue is incorrect. It is competency. My mom lived to 87 and was never confused. A neighbor lived to 100 and was more clear than Biden. Some people start declining in their 50's.

This segment was awful to watch, it’s showing slides that aren’t part of the conversation, it shows like two seconds of someone talking and cuts it off… awful editing, the story doesn’t flow, the screen and audio doesn’t match up.. painful to watch… very poorly done.

One solution might be swapping positions on the Democratic ticket.. Instead of a Biden/Harris ticket, switch to a Harris/Biden ticket. Joe Biden could retire before his term is over, and Vice President Harris would become the first woman President. History would be made! Then President Kamala Harris could call Joe Biden out of retirement to run as her vice presidential pick. What do you think?

The job of being president clearly has aged Biden as it did to every previous holder of the office, with the exception of trump. The reason it didn’t age trump is that he never took the job seriously. Biden still takes the job seriously and, unlike trump, has executed his duties well enough to earn a second term.
