Despite all the odds that life has to offer para-athlete Dr Deepa Malik (a Padma Shri awardee) stands as an inspiration for each one of us as she has effortlessly proven that age is just a number. She is the first Indian woman to win a medal in Paralympic Games and won a silver medal at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in shot put.
