And why aren't we even ready to settle for something less than that like our parents did? Alike many others, I too have tried and failed. So even when I want to settle with someone, why am I too lazy to look for that someone, and if I do then why can't I find the one? I finally realized that the 90s kids are basically undergoing a collective form of disillusionment! We are aware of the impending dystopian world that is dawning upon us. We don't want to bring children in a world that's polluted, filled with crime and might end soon! We also don't want to compromise because why would we? We don't need anyone to rely on. We have bought ourselves comfortable lives and houses. So, altogether I feel that we are aware of the need to find someone, but too lazy to look or too lazy to work towards making it happen. I have had a similar conversation with my 'mama' years ago. And with my mom too. I could identify with all the points in the video. Very recently, I was arguing with a friend who mentioned 'ladkiyan bohot nakhre kartee hain...they keep rejecting boys" And my response was "why not. If boys can reject girls because well, their eyes are brown (type reasons). Why should girl not have the right to reject for things she does not like" Really good content!
3:13 that photo dekhkar rejection wali bat hitted very hard 😥😥 No matter how many people tell me that looks don't matter, I know that they do. Throughout my life, my family has constantly reminded me that I'm not attractive which has caused me to have low self-confidence even though I have achieved great things in my life such as being a topper in school, having three years of job experience, writing a mystery thriller novel that has gained 170k+ reads, and coming second in a national essay writing competition where 40k+ students participated. Despite all this, at the age of 21, I still feel like no boy will be interested in me because of my appearance.

Hats off to you captain ❤️
No words to say how damn relatable this is.. the pressure and the emotional blackmailing..
The way you brought the frustration out of all the girls, Respect 🙌
Being a girl I can say each and every word u said is so damn true...that picture one which boys put on profile of 8-10yrs old is damn true...being a girl we put latest pictures but men don't..
Men have to be rich.. who have generational wealth .. proper job.. "sarkari naukari".. it's not like boys have it easier
@@BhaktManomandirVihariniUma no one is saying that bro. We agree that both men and women have to face these stereotypical implementations that women should be pretty and men should be wealthy. Pls dont see this as an attack
@@paraathakare1851 I am just clarifying.. because nowdays Men hate is trend lol..
@the fear files - it’s been since decades, but this video is not intended towards any kind of hate for men.
It’s in general for “society” and the video is from feminine view point because I’m a female and I could portray this better bas.
@@BhaktManomandirVihariniUma bhai men are mocking and hating women by memes like women ☕ & glorifying eve teasing, perverts, harassment against women by memes like "men will be men", I have seen hateful comments by men even on periods related content. Hm women ko defend nhi kar rahe par Hate to bhai men hi phaila rahe hai.
The way this girl made our life so much better
I am 29 and getting married next month. That line "meri umar nikal gai aur sab achhe ladke shaadi karke bachhe paida karne me lage hai" I felt that😅 ab jo bacha hai usse kar rahi hu shaadi🤣
Same happen with me.. at the age of 28 . Jab koi ladka mujhe pasand nhi aaya to jo ladka meri family ko shi lga use se kar rhe h. Jbki wo ladka merko acha nhi lga..lekin bina mere puche rista pakka kar diya.
Are you guys doing ok? i am in a similar situation. i found a guy, who is a good man, but I don't like him that much. We have no connection, but just because I know he will not turn out be abusive, I am thinking maybe this is it! Too tired of waiting for the right guy.
Niharika, you are doing a great job. Marriage is not a necessity, it's just an option. Girls are not a pressure to family and settling with a guy is not an only motive of girl's life. Thank you for discussing this topic in this way.. thank you so much ❤️
I agree with you and totally support your thoughts .....bt today's family and society doesn't understand this 🥲 they all are ready to throw the girls into their so called reputation and all those nonsense thinks...😔
Yeah
Marriage is not necessity
It's just an option.
I like how she brings a serious topic in a funny way ❤️✨
I have had a similar conversation with my 'mama' years ago.
7:35 totally real story of Indian society....truth said brutally
Pakistanis also have to face the same situation..😥
What ! Your parents are forcing you to marry at the age of 21 ! Behen apne parents ke chakkar me apni life kabhi mat kharab karna. Isse accha koi job dundo aur alag raho apne parents se.
@@dikshasuman After my graduation exams were over, I was able to secure a job with TechMahindra within 4 days of last exam. Unfortunately, after working there for 3 months, I was forced to leave the job by my family. To stay afloat, I am currently doing internships and part-time work without informing them, as they do not want me to work.
You are too young dear, don't let these kind of experience pull u down.
Society wants everything in a girl, Beauty with brains as well as money.....if it will be beauty then also chances are not good may be better than the so called non-attractive ones(acc. to society), then also there is possibility for girl facing difficulty in marital life.
You just focus on your part, I hope u get to meet someone who in many ways will suit u well.
Don't leave you financial opportunities for anyone....fight for ur life dear girl., no one comes for help in difficult situations, God help those who help themselves try to stick with it.
You know what these things are even forbidden in islam . Watch nouman ali khan lectures and try to make your parents understand that through them ............
@@Wonder_Voice beauty lies in the eyes of beholder!!! Always remember this. Allah created everything and everyone beautiful. No one is worthless . Every person born on this earth has a meaningful purpose.Stay strong girls.
So relatable.I got bit emotional.Being into a family of four daughters,I can completely relate this.Even though My parents tried their best to obstruct the societal pressure of marriage ,at times it became so difficult for them and it’s really heartbreaking to see your parents so helpless 😢
it's 101 percent relatable to my situation right now, it literally felt like she just came to about my life and nailed it here ..... but still there is no choice left at the end , everything is just and fair for sake of marriage according to Indian society
Me too
Being 18 year old girl i think this video was totally a good message to our so called society
I'm just grateful for my parents, they're the coolest ever. They've never told me that marriage is compulsory or anything, always have put my career and studies first, taught me to be independent. Shaadi is totally on me and completely my choice.
I knew you couldn't live without marriage content😂❤

On point Niharika..
I'm 30.. you put my thoughts in words.. also, we are two sister.. my younger sis is just 16.. i want to support (financially/physically/emotionally) my parents all my life.. never been in a relationship.. so want to fullfill that aswell..
But apart from what you said,
I would point out ..
1. Dowry was like lumpsum, now they need salaries of Wife/DIL as dowry in emi/instalments
2. No freedom in upbringing the child..the thought of school we want to inculcate in them.. we can't..
3. No freedom of living life as the lady wants.. whether she want to work or be a homemaker..
Damnnnnnn, was waiting for thisss only. 😍😍This is what weekends feel like, laughing and spreading happiness by sharing this with everyone....
True🥺 so relevant at the age of 29 I can totally relate to this ❤️

So true ....so relatable..nice to see I am not the only one stuck in this situation...thank you ❤
This is exactly my situation at home right now. All i did was cry looking at this , because i cannot talk any of this infront of my parents. I really feel like all my hard work , efforts, achievements everything is not even seen or appreciated just because i do not agree to get married right now.
