I've always thought that this EP was themed around her personal romantic relationship with an unnamed someone - and my favorite part about this piece is how the lyrics, specifically "my only rival is within" focus on her own personal flaws and how it creates struggles that might not exist and informs her own perspective on a love-triangleish relationship where she might feel threatened.
