Dusk had always been apathetic towards other so Willow was very confused when they started to become close. But she soon learned that they had become mates and it broke Willow's heart... Apple has had feelings for Willow since they were apprentices as well and she defaults to him for comfort and affection, just pretending its Dusk who has started a family with the former kittypet...
