I saw a comment where it was written that this gun is worst than the pakistani mg 42 ,bhai i dont know about pakistan but the mg 42 or the mordern variant the mg3 is a fantastic squad suppression weapon ,given it eats ammo like crazy but then being a mmg its rate of fire is somwhere between 1000 1200Rpm which even after 70 years of its service is remarkable to speak the least ,so saying the Mg 42 or the Machineghewer 42 (german)is worse than insas does not compute with any gun loving person on the planet.
DRDO is not Junk OFB is. In Vietnam war M16 was the worst rifle. But they didn't give up they improved and Finally they Made M16A3 one of the best rifle and M4A1 is The Grandson of that legend. The point is Insas was never improved there's little to No Improvement.
