The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato looks like it's built to go off-road but who's really gonna take one of them off-road except someone who rents it and dumps it.
The crazy Arab habibis most likely will! I've heard rumours too that one of them are toying with the idea of running an slightly modded Sterrato in next year's Dakar Rally. It can really take quite a beating too without fallin apart. A RUclipsr recently accidentally launched one almost 2-3 feet in the air off road n apart from a broken front bumper clip, there was barely anything else wrong. Didn't blow out the suspension (considering how easy it is blow out the suspension n destroy the wheels in the Aventador if you hit a pothole wrong) n didn't throw any errors either. The previous Huracans might decide to go into limp mode if you take that kinda impact usually.

I think its a good buy since its limited amount so value will go up eventually...do not rent it or else it will get destroyed for sure....
I doubt it'll appreciate in value cos they've not really put a cap on production numbers. It's competitor of sorts, the 911 Dakar, has more or less stabilized with them going for sticker in most countries. I know that the US is an outlier when it comes to overs on cars but in Europe the Dakars seem to be selling at just a tad over MSRP. Another way that you can gauge this is by whats happening with the actual limited run Ultimaes with 600 coupes n 600 roadsters dropping almost half a million in under a year. The Lambo market doesn't really hold strong the way Ferraris do unfortunately (for the new buyers)/fortunately (for those of us who prefer buying used n let someone else take that depreciation hit). Same thing happened with the Performante n the STO too. The Perf really halved in value just over a year after its release n the STO market really crashed within 6 months. I do see greedy ass US dealers still tryin really hard to push these cars at way over MSRP but in most other countries they're trading at sticker now. It's kinda the same story with the SVJs n even the SVJ63s too. One way that the Sterrato will shoot up in value will be if one of the crazy Arab habibis take one n do next year's Dakar Rally n successfully complete it. I do think that it is capable of pulling that off with a few minor upgrades. A RUclipsr recently accidentally launched one almost 2-3 feet in the air n landed quite hard n it barely did any damage to the car apart from a bracket or so for the front bumper breaking n the overall repair cost was like 200 dollars or something.

Houston I think if you look at the reality of things the board at Lamborghini sat around with their aching backs saying to each other, "these roads are killing us" and one genius said, "check out roads world wide" so they did and found out every where the roads were like off road tracks. The Genius then said "we build an off road spec and it still looks good and fast but can handle the roads without putting the driver in hospital and we make more money". that genius drew a few pictures and got a swelling in his bank account, once all the board members got their cars.
