I don't understand why catchers block like that. Just catch the ball in your glove. Almost every time a girl tries blocking, the ball hits her knee guards and goes flying. 🤷‍♀️

The technique shown here is catching 101! Catchers who do not learn to block will NOT be successful at higher level softball! Their pitchers will also become very frustrated with them!
