    dude grant is just by far my favorite golf personality on youtube. always such a pleasure to watch: amazing optimism, funny lines, charming banter, and of course, great fucking golf on great courses with great people. keep doing what you’re doing grant - you’re the fucking king of this kind of content as far as i’m concerned

    To Grant's credit he's a good player with a great swing but these guys on tour are just at another level. Fun to see Akshay be a great sport, and he's a very likeable player.

      I’m constantly thinking that. I’ve put a lot of work into my golf game to say confidently I’m a decent player. Then I see Grant and think that’s a good player. Then I see tour players and how they play, and I ain’t shit.

    Grant, first off, congrats on the wedding! You and Akshay make a great pairing with complimentary personalities and games. You could take on any pairing and be very competitive. Also, it's been great to watch your game mature since you moved on. Playing with high calibre pros has definitely honed your course management skills and controlling your distances with the irons. You don't need to hit an 8-iron 190 yards, even if you can, and I think you're figuring that out. All the best to you and yours in 2024 and I'm looking forward to seeing where your golf and life journey takes you.

    I remember first seeing akshay with these lads on RUclips before he blew up on the pga tour. Big fan of this dood so down to earth, humble. So dope that they can get together and do this.

    What i think i like the most about youtube golf is listening to the way you guys break down your thought process before each shot. We get some of that on tour (Spieth with his caddie is always a treat) but not to the same extent.

    I love the way there’s a competitive but a really chill atmosphere at the same time, you make it really fun to watch every time I play. Also u gotta come play a course in Ireland, carton house is my recommendation

    Akshay trains with a guy in NC named Chase Duncan. Dudes lessons prices are out of this world, but I think it’s working out pretty good for Akshay. His IG posts some guys with beautiful swings on there.

    Still watching the video but want to know where are you guys playing? Looks like North Carolina... Great golf by the way. Watched Akshay play in Canada... as a fellow lefty, I look at all his moves, especially how he generates so much power.

    Ask Shay about his Brevofield days in Wake Forest, NC. Not a course to write home* about, but it's where he kinda cut his teeth in the game. His coach then was Evan Swogger, he still teaches there.

    My friend Sam is a great golfer who used to play some of the same youth events as akshay. I’m around a 20 handicap, my buddy is a +5 who consistently comes in 5 under from the tips. Sam looks at Akshays game the way I look at Sam’s game.

    Love how at 24:25 the shot tracer followed Akshay's divot instead of the ball! If the camera hadn't followed the ball I would have thought he'd duffeed it big time 😂

    About the dark round spots on the video : have the camera sensor cleaned. It's specs of dust on the image sensor. Good job on the team for the great content.

    I have been following Akshay for a long time now but surprised by his putting. I think there is something to be said for number of putters vs his inconsistency. I think he fixes that he will win so many more PGA tournaments

    Fun match! Big fan of Akshay. Dude is an incredible shotmaker. Can't weigh much more than 135 pounds, so the speed he gets is completely outrageous. Expecting many, many more wins from him over the years, including a few majors.

    Akshay's comment on the par 3 was very on point. A person that hits an off line tee shot is not necessarily out of it. The hole must play itself out. That's why you can't give up on one bad shot.

    When you play with these pros you should throw them off and ask what is their worst shot they have ever hit. Everyone expects their favorite shot or best moment so ask their worst and should be a good laugh

    Played this course in 2021 for a US Junior Am Qualifier, had 2 chip ins that round! Missed out on qualifying by 3 shots.

    Also on the Job Rahm situation, all those clips people pulled were prior to the PGA tour turning their backs on the players first. Those clips are from when the players were holding the line with the PGA. Once pga tour got their own deal, everything prior to that is negated.
