As the quantity of FC buses operating within the metropolitan region rises, Toyota foresees increased familiarity with the vehicle among the general populace.
In the previous year, Toyota initiated the "Embark on Your Unthinkable" global corporate initiative to shift the company's focus from merely producing automobiles to becoming a mobility service provider. This initiative was steered by Toyota's aspiration to contribute to enhancing the lives of customers and society as a whole by supporting the establishment of a more inclusive and sustainable society where individuals are motivated to overcome their limitations. In crafting the Sora, Toyota aimed to create buses that grant customers mobility freedom and become enduring symbols of urban life.
Toyota strives to develop a bus that serves and benefits society, thus integrating the Toyota Fuel Cell System (TFCS) into the Sora due to its eco-friendliness and potential to act as a power source during emergencies. The Sora boasts a user-centric universal design and features, aligning with Toyota's vision that when traveling aboard the Sora, mobility should not hinder individuals from pursuing the unthinkable, thus empowering them to pursue their aspirations.
