Let's say in Future Flying with brooms or a single seated flying machine like a broom is invented and later they discovered The Harry Potter books and learned that a thing like that already mentioned and if They came to the conclusion from that , that we ( Humans of 21st century ) were wayy advanced and made the Flying broom way before and wrote a story about it

I respect venki ramakrishna but i do not completely agree with him. Just because we do not have proof does not rule out the possibility of having advanced technology before 1600’s. Fascination and assuming the possibility is in no way harmful. For his caliber, if NDTV had got the examples of views or opinions of Vedic experts and scientific knowledge could have need better than showing these people views.
Even Vedic experts or scholars of Hindu religion doesn't agree what those people said. For that it was not necessary to bring Nobel laureates. Pathetic and one sided interview.
I would have appreciated if the scientist thoroughly reads the Vedic books and also has the knowledge of India's history of barbaric invasion of centuries on Temples, sculptures, Vedic books, women. Then his opinion would have been considered as scientific knowledge rather it just stands as personal opinion.

His argument is against pseudoscience, not specifically Hinduism. The problem is that the people who follow the politicians tend to actually believe it and spread it, decreasing the level of illiteracy.
Though real vedic experts also would say what those politicians said is wrong, the people are actually believing in those things, and not following actuality and logic. That is the thing we need to eradicate. It doesn't matter who does it. The only requirement is that he speak the truth.

Psychology is not just philosophy. It is scientific because we can formulate hypotheses and falsify experiments and support or disprove theories.
