True story: I was once dining at Daniel Boulud’s restaurant “Daniel” in NYC with an exec from Audemars Piguet and a guy from IWC and Daniel Boulud came to sit at our table and noticed my IWC Perpetual Calendar, and I took it off and he tried it on - removing his ceramic Cartier Santos Black Ceramic. He sat with us for 20 mins and had a glass of wine while we talked watches - and specifically some of the watches we noticed on his peers like Ramsay, Eric Ripert, Joel Robuchon, etc. Daniel’s a class act!!

They unveiled the new commemorative Muhammad Ali limited Big Pilot. I left with 2 friends who happened to work for AP and IWC and we had a reservation at Daniel.

That IWC is so simple yet so iconic. If you are a watch nerd you can tell it is an IWC from a mile away. Of course, reference number and model is something only Nico will be able to recognize from that distance

I probably have the weakest watch collection out of everyone reading but I'm new to this and my favorite one is a Benoss Milan from my dad he gave me this past Christmas, he passed 3 days after and I remember opening it at the time and having to thank him through the phone with all his grandchildren for such a shit watch lol.🥺 didn't know it would be the last time I got to see him alive so that's why that's my favorite watch. Priceless. I really miss him.
