Hi js, I agree. As mentioned easy for newer baristas to be successful/consistent and tools for the high-end barista to produce superior quality. Plus ease of use and reliability with isolated groups/boilers. Have you used the XT? I'd love to hear more details of your experience if you have. Marc
@@Wholelattelovepage I have the practical experience working with DC "Evolution". And i can say this is a real workhorse with a stable temperature control for each of groups + steam boiler. Now here at a coffee house where i work we are going to get XT for 2 groups.
Hi AA, Thanks for the question. There's the Dalla Corte Mina. Same group but even more capable with 5 levels of flow rate programmable in 5 timed steps or ability to run the flow rates manually using 5 steps of the group lever. Check it out here: www.wholelattelove.com/products/dalla-corte-mina-110v Marc
I imagine old fashion guys"this is not as good as the old machines"...... That's why Della Corte R&D people are building time machine to send them back to the past.
Hey Mark! I live in Colombia and had the opportunity to make some espressos by a DC Mina. They were the best ones I have tasted and now I have the opportunity to buy a new machine. I wanna know something about the XT: this machine has no flow profiling, and in the video Danilo talks about starting with a slower or higher flow and then ending it again lower o higher depending on the coffee. This doesn't completely apply to the XT, does it? In your opinion, can the XT make better shots than the Mina with fixed flow shots?
Hi CC, Thanks for the question. The Mina is an outstanding machine and you are not alone with having the best shots ever from that machine! The XT does have adjustable flow rate but not while a shot is extracting like one can do on the Mina. You can setup a different flow rate on each group of the XT. So in a cafe you could have a flow for different coffees on each group. In my opinion the Mina is capable of better shots than the XT. Hope that helps! Marc

They need a home (one cup) version of this beauty. The same, but better and smaller.
