Ya u hve a workbook, that's gr8... But a humble request! Can u make atleast one video on simple past which is often used by Americans plz? 👍🏻... U r the best teacher for those who wanna learn american accent including me!. Tq so much 👍🏻!...
To learn English ,guys, you should only do one thing. you should practice. Yaeh practice try to go back in time and imagine yourself as a baby. How could you learn your mother language? By listening, right Listening and trying to speak. try and make mistakes. it's fine, But in the end i promise you. you will do it
I agree with you, but sometimes when I try to writting in some videos explaining what I think about that video, sound like weird or wrong, is so frustrating.
Yeah u R right.. My mother language is tamil I can talk tamil fluently and faster because that's my mother tongue. So When I was a baby I made mistakes in talking tamil.. My mother corrected me Everytime. Yes Now I am gonna imagine I am a baby and gonna talk English....
Yeah the “t” sound really slows you down unless it’s the at the end of the word. Your tongue winds up in an awkward position and you have to kind of “reset it” to keep talking. If your catching my drift. Also the sound “de” is much smoother to say then “te” so it keeps you talking at a consistent rhythm.
Up until now, I couldn't belive the fact that my speaking skills has improved a lot since the first time I found your channel two months ago. You're such a great virtual teacher! >

I started watching your videos this year already I watched your all videos how to speak English fast and understand natives all part I also watched. After watching your videos it helps me a loads to speak fast also like a native ❤❤😍😍😍.
I bought your book, I am from latin america and this section is the best of the channel, great tips to understand and be able to speak like a native. thanks.
As a native speaker from America I can understand how someone would think we say "goob boy" or "goog girl", but I think a lot easier way to look at it is "goo' boy" or "goo' girl". Also no one would think you were being too formal by actually pronouncing the words the way they were intended to be pronounced lol. I personally do not know anyone who replaces the n for an m. I don't think anyone says hambag, saim paul, cam buy etc. She might just be confusing the n and m sounds. Cutting out the letter "t" is definitely a thing we do on the other hand, but not for all words.
I'm learning so much with you. So guys Im trying a different manner of learning english that is listening the video with legend and making notes of vocabulary that I've never heard and after I listening the video again without pauses nor legend. Evething becomes clearer.
@Marina....it’s called baby talk. (Whooosa cutiepie). It’s the way people talk to newborns, often in a high pitched voice so that it sounds cute, and can often get a baby to smile. Somehow this style of speech got transferred to dogs as well.
Marina, I just wanted to say thank you and i really mean it. Your videos have helped me awfully a lot in improving my English. I am just surprised that i pronounce words like a native speaker and its all just because of you. Thank you so much for teaching these things, you might not know but these videos have changed lives of so many people just like me. Thank you ❤
Even though you have been living in US for a long enough time, you seem to get stuck sometimes in understanding people's speech. And you are still learning English. Other than this, to us whom are on intermediate or lower level it seems long journey to learn a language, but I am not disappointed because I never like to stop learning.
Some great tips! It's really important to pay attention to the features of connected speech and those tricky vowel sounds. Good point about the use of the present perfect/past simple in British/American English- it's true!! 😀
I really wanted to have an American accent but I'm scared as my friends or classmates are talking in a Filipino accent and it's gonna be weird to be the only one who has a different accent, so is that okay?
I'm a Filipino and I'm here because I guess, i should improve more my english, still learning tho. Thank you for all the lessons you've shared. big help. thank you. ❤️

Ok but say the phrase 'can buy' as if you were naturally saying it in a sentence and you will end up making the 'm' sound.
You do make the M sound, you just don't realise you do it
