Though many people dislike the final product, I really adore it. The background gives a calm and cold feeling, and lets the cool painting effect go off.
Then the hot and warm colors contrast the cold ones. It was like flowers pushed up to the camera. The amount of paint got a little bit obsessive, but many painters do this for texture once the paint dries.
Though there’s a lot of ‘hate’ or disliking of the way the end product appear, I would buy this. I think it’s very unique and a this is just how abstract art is.
Art is art, no matter what kind it is.

Before he put green paint it looked like a forest covered with snow and ice, if it was me I would have just left it like that, without any other color than blue and white.

I skipped straight to the end and without watching the process, I saw the painting and was like "wow😍 that's gorgeous", then I scrolled down to see what everyone else was saying (expecting my same reaction) but then all I saw was people saying how it would've looked better without the color, leaving it just an icy blue. I decided to skip to the middle to see and I do see what people are saying but I absolutely love it even more with color. I love the extra step you took just for fun and I think it just looks more creative and beautiful 😍

I agree! It looked like a pathway you take through spring to get to the icy winter just after. It was beautiful all throughout imo.

I also liked the blue landscape at first, and thought he ruined it. But at the end I see a unique piece, an idea and a feeling a bit extravagant, the cold and the warmth together, with a certain technique, upsidedown, it made me feel something.
Okay, I was supposed to be studyin' and ended here 🤭

I guess it's really abstract because he's got spring/summer/fall colors bordering an artic/frigid/icy background.

It does but to the trained eye it's flat dense solid colour pattern I specialise in colour & I think🤔Where is the light through the colour bouncing into the atmosphere? Where are the abstract marks? Its uniform pallet knife yuck. Its all opaque one tone, no transparent paint. No interesting passages. Its gaudy & I think these formulas do not do real painting justice. I wish these amature artists would stop sharing their ignorance about painting. I know what I'm talking about.

    • @mgordon5125
      @mgordon5125 5 лет назад

Blue & white always work & any texture infront creates that clever illusion but notice the opaque colours are one tone & dense. I specialise in colour & this painter jst shows local colour which has no depth. Light effects colour so it's design but lacks merit in painting. I give it a low pass

You're just a random, anonymous guy on RUclips lol, no one really cares about your opinion on this video or on anything else tbh.. sounds like you're just trying to brag about... something. Guess what, artists aren't that big of a deal in this world. Most are mediocre and even the best ones don't impact the world much LOL. Yeah, any form of art is a nice pass time, but in the grand scheme of things, art is irrelevant. We can very well live without it. Science and technology are the most important things in the world. Those are indispensable, art isn't.

The icy landscape is like the happiness gone and then when the flowers appear, it’s like happiness is slowly blooming.
Like the quote about the day is always after the night or spring is after winter.
Basically saying after all the sadness and bad things, it won’t last forever and good things will come soon and it’ll all be worked out (:

Just viewed comments. I thought at first it was water scene under the surface.then i as it went on it looked like grass and sky sun above the clouds, mountain with snow, because abstract, colors wasnt what i was seeing. Then the grass turned to flowers by the edge of water. This facinated me as it made me see this picture as a story of the life of the flower. Funny how people see things so differently. I loved it, thank for sharing. March 2019.

Haha yes that is funny. Untill he started adding the yellow bits 2:37 i saw it as a ocean in the distance from the view of the top of a glacier covered in spikes, and in my opinion he shouls have left it at that (2:35) but its his painting and people like it so i wont be complaining :D
(The fact that i dont see what the brighter colors are suppused to be might be due to me being colorblind, so yeah im never going to see it lol)

Then suddenly he added warm colours.. so i was like ok.. so maybe a forest? We're thinking abstract here right? -,-"
As he keeps adding colours, i keep getting a bad feeling.. but then i looked at the end product and read the title back..
Now to me this painting symbolises like peace that comes after war.. the bright warm colors are like flowers blooming on those ice cold spears.. which to me suits the title which is Blooming Colours

I have to tell my kids this all the time. It may not have been you intentions but the background was great then you went on a crazy just add paint to the canvas to get something done. My Arts-teacher used to say, a painting must be finish right from the beginning. Lot of the People's comments said that they liked the blueish of the beginning. But i liked all stages and it was like the artist was able to end the painting at any stage of progress - it was finished right from the beginning. Very beautiful painting and I enjoyed the music. Thank you!

I was on board with the blues, then the white threw me off. Then I was back on board with the white and a touch of trowel, then I was thrown off by the vertical troweling. The I was back on board with the splotches of yellow, then the constant addition of colour threw me again. This whole video is a lesson in how less is more.
