Was just trying to remember some watercolor basics the other day, and then magically this video appears recommended to me! Always appreciate how clear your instruction is
I use different brands depending on what I want. The paint in this video is reeves watercolour but it comes in tubes so I only use it as a refill. The packaging is a different brand.
Sometimes. I don't think there is tape that doesn't do it at all. What you can do is before sticking it to the paper to stick it to some sort of a fabric like your pants or a shirt and then attach it to the paper. This trick makes it less sticky so it's not likely to rip the paper up but at the same time it's more likely to let the paint through as well. If you want it to be 100% safe from the paint and not to worry about the paper ripping you can use masking fluid but that can get expensive if you are covering a large area. There are some other tips I can make a video on probably. 💗
Your watercolor tutorials make me wanna use my lill palett again but... I would have to go buy a new sketchbook with my favorite paper... but I don't want to because of corona ._.
I'll never gonna get tired of tell you how beautiful you are. Hey, how about a video where you explain how to get better on "shaky" strokes and make it solid.
@@atanatokosmiki216 I'll make a video about it some day but for now try these things. When working horizontally ( on the table rather than easel) make sure than your hand is resting on the table and not hanging in the air as you need something to absorb your trimmers from heart beats and breathing. Best is to have your elbow and you wrist sitting on something steadily. Hope it helps 💗

@@rosievaughan2809 No problem 👍💗
Great video Leila! The masking tape you use: does it tear up the paper when you remove it?

LEILAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! You just made my night!😊🤪🥰... Out of curiosity, what's your opinion on oil paints??
Oils are great, now days you can have water-mixable oils as well as traditional.💗
“The possibilities are endless.”

Thank you :) Yea it's tricky these days even with simple things like going to the shops. I hope you can still order things online. 💗

What do you mean shaky strokes? Are you talking about painting details?
@@LeilaAtaya about impresice strokes in drawing, using the graphite pencil and what tips you could share to get better.
