Great educational content. I was hoping your video would continue to the fruit stage, and the time durations in Spring and Summer to understand the full cycle but if you do a video separately that is great too. I wanted to know what to do to the blooms that have come now in late Fall (Nov end in So Cal) when there are still some blooms due to hotter weather in autumn!

Good suggestion for further videos. I will consider doing more on apple development and thinning.
As far as your question about late fall blooms, there isn't anything to really be done about them, unfortunately.
We sometimes see that here in Illinois as well with warm spells in the fall. I have never seen any long-term issues with the crop the following spring. I CAN imagine a problem scenario if ALL the blooms for the following year opened early. In that case, you would be looking at NO crop the following year.

Look on Curtis Orchard & Pumpkin Patch for further videos as well. Randy can be reached at randy@curtisorchard.com

So would you say that you could prune up to " silver tip " or no ? Dormant only ?

Randy prunes beyond silver tip, because we have 15,000 trees for Curtis Orchard
