Karna and krishna never disrespected each other ... karna always respected krishna as a God. Krishna even cried when karna died because krishna knew karna was a rightful man
Yudhishthira too actually always loved and respected Karna. IDK why they are showing Karna as disrespectful of and from Sri Krishna and Yudhishthira.
So why did Krishna ask Arjuna to throw the bun on Karna?

Karna was the greatest and noblest warrior in Mahabharat. He did not switch loyalties, even after knowing he was the eldest Pandavas and he would be crowned king. He did not ditch the friendship and love towards Duryodhan, who game him respect.
His mother left him in river after birth because he was born before marriage. He earned the curse of Parshuram that he will forget the usage of greatest weapon Brahmastra when he needs it the most.
Karna never refused to donate anything that was in his capacity. He even donated his impenetrable armor given by his father Sun god, when Lord Indra begged for it, fearing Arjuna's life. Karna spared the lives of all 4 pandavas except Arjuna, as promised to mother Kunti.
Karna did not commit a single crime. He insulted Draupadi only because she was the first to call him a low born. He cut Arjuna's son Abhimanyu's bow string upon getting orders from guru Dronacharya.
Arjuna would have been killed on many occassions by Karna , if not for Krishna saving Arjuna. Karna was the greatest and noblest warrior in Mahabharat.

All are true but the curse is that he will forget every teachings of fighting at the time which is most needed.
If you think karna didn't commit any crime then you haven't read mahabharat fully , by watching anime you cannot get a full view of mahabharat you can just get the basics. Now if I were to present list of karnas fault , it is as follows
(1)Not standing up against duryodhan at drauapadi's insult ,but calling draupadi a whore .
(2)killing a cow
(3) Obtained teaching from his guru parshuram by telling lie about his caste , and the vidhya(teaching) got on basis of lie and thought in mind that I will be the best FROM every one else , rather than only best . The thought of obtaining vidhya (teaching) on basis of competition was his 3rd fault .
(4) In context to the injustice and insult done on karna , karna had two choice rather upliftment of his whole community because he had strength to do so , but when duryodhan offered him ANGAD kingdom , he offered his loyalty to duryodhan without thinking of the pros and cons of it toward the SUT caste and he did not check the character of duryodhan before pleging to him .
If you compare the sufferings of karna with Krishna who was universal Lord ,still had to leave his mother and father , grew up by other mother , was always targeted by demons right from his childhood, his own uncle tried to kill him , always had to live a life of cow grazer , could not marry his love . By facing all this hardships he did not take path of adharma .
Because as stated in Gita when Arjun asks krishna " why good people suffer most ''
Krishna replies "Good people must do good deeds regardless of the reward , if you do good deeds the reward will certainly be given ".

Yudhistra didn't approach Karna for blessings . He didn't know Karna was his brother but He approached other elder relatives Bhisma , Drona , Kripa and Shalya .

Both were good friends.
He never used to call Krishna Chaliya(Trickster).
Infact he was the only one who called Krishna by several names by praising him.

@@SolarDragon007 When abhimanyu was killed karna was one of the guys who broke the rule and attacked him, when draupadi was dragged by hair and disrobed karna didn't say anything and called her a whore. karna also lied to parshurama to gain knowledge just to be better than arjuna. And most important he was fighting on the wrong side and supporting people who played an unfair dice game to win a kingdom with occult dice, tried to disrobe draupadi, sent pandavas to exile, lied to them, gave them a desert to rule and when it was converted into indraprastha they took that too, after 12 years of exile and 1 year of incognito when pandavas asked for only 5 villages duryodhana said that he wont give them the land to cover the tip of the needle. If karna would not have have killed, kauravas would have won and they are the most evil people to rule the country who seek their own benefit, not the people's welfare.

Each character of mahabharat resembles ourselves, we all have greed anger , ego , desire of being powerful, at the end all we want is to be known as the best! But here's a twist , for being best u have to be the simplest. Replace greed through working on things without a desired result, replace anger with patience , replace your ego with respect towards other! And inspite of desiring for power and dignity , desire for being on the side of righteousness. That's when you'll be a true powerful men / women!

I've only read gopalachari translation so I was not aware that yudishthira asked Karna for his blessing although i did know that Krishna confronted him. Really neat spin Morrison and crew have put on it.

I wish everyone read Mahabharat original in Sanskrit karan have faced many difficulties but I laugh at the people who think Arjuna never faced difficulties I mean he spend his entire life in forest he lost everything many terrible things happen to him he even was exiled from his own kingdom of Indraprastha why do people become so one sided
You're right. I thought it was quite obvious that Duryodhana is the cause of this War. My point was that Krishna is directing how the War should be conducted, not the originator of the Conflict.
karna was better than arjun .. here is the incident from mahabharat which proves this statement.
During a fierce battle between arjun and karna. The arrows of arjun were pushing karna's chariot by 10 steps while arrows of karna were pushing arjuna's chariot by two steps. Each time Krishna applaud karna fot every arrow of Karna. Seeing this arjun got frustated and said"oh Madhusudhan You are praising Karna because he makes our chariot to go back for two steps in his every stike!!! but can't you see my each arrow sends his(karna) chariot back for 10 steps."
On this Krishna replies "Parth (Arjun) your arrow strikes the chariot where two immortals are sitting but his arrow strikes a chariot where besides you i am also sitting and in me this whole universe lies, and even then this chariot is sent back two steps with each blow of arrow"
Another incident:
Karna attaches an arrow to his bow, pulls back and releases - the arrow is aimed at Arjun’s heart. Krishna, Arjun’s Charioteer, drives by sheer force the chariot into the ground several feet. The arrow hits Arjun’s headgear and knocks it off. Missing its target - Arjuna’s heart.
Krishna yells, “Wow! Nice shot, Karna.”
Arjuna asks Krishna, ‘Why are you praising Karna?’
Krishna tells Arjun, ‘Look at you! You have Lord Hanuman on the flag of this chariot. You have me as your charioteer. You received the blessings of Ma Durga and your Guru, Dronacharya before the battle, have a loving Mother and an aristocratic heritage. This Karna has nobody, his own charioteer, Salya belittles him, his own Guru (Parusurama) cursed him, his Mother abandoned him when he was born and he has no known heritage. Yet, look at the battle he’s giving you. Without me and Lord Hanuman on this chariot, where would you be?’

Motmonly batted Draupadi, Yudhisthira described the beauty of Draupadi shamelessly while staking her. And he not only staked Draupadi, He staked 1LAKH women servants too. He staked his entire public except Brahmins.
Duryodhana never staked his wife or his servants or his public.

Karna is the greatest warrior of Mahabharata. He is also called as 'Danveer Karn' or 'Hero of Donation'. He not only possess Brahmastra, but also three astras that is way powerful than Brahmastra .i.e. Brahamaand (Brahmadand) astra, Vaishnav astra, Brahmasheerastra and Vijay bow, which was impenetrable, which was given to him by his teacher Parshuraam. Knowledge of these astras was limited to only few warriors in Mahabharata .viz. Guru Dronaacharya, Maha Mahim Bhishma, Parshuram.....etc.
1)Brahmastra - Divine and devastating weapon of Lord Brahma.
It is capable to annihilate an entire city, entire country.
It is obtained by chanting Gayathri Mantra.
2) Brahmasheer astra - It reprseents four heads of lord Brahma.
It is capable to dissolve and nullify
Brahmastra.
It is twice powerful than Brahmaastra.
3) Brahmaand or Brahmadand Astra - It was created by Vishwakarma when Lord Brahma had five heads.
It represents the five heads of lord Brahma.
It is able to nullify Brahmasstra and Brahmasheerastra simultaneously.
But actually, all these astras goes powerless against two astras.
That is Pashupatastra which ultimate weapon of Lord Shiv and Narayanastra, which is weapon different from Sudarshan chakra but also in form of pointed disc type which is weapon of Lord Vishnu.
Paashupatastra - Divine weapon of Lord Shiva.
Able to annihilate an entire planet or a galaxy.
When launched, it extracts power from all animals in planet earth, even humans. ( Paashupatastra - Literal meaning is ' weapon made by power of all beasts'. As lord Shiva is Pashupathi ( Pashu - Animals or Beasts and Pathi - Lord.) Therefore Pashupathi means Lord of Beasts.)
It's knowledge is only to known lord
Shiva and Goddess Kali.
Lord Shiva gave this weapon to Arjun during his exile from Hastinapur as Lord Shiva was impressed by his devotion when he tested him in a disguise of hunter. But lord Shiva ordered him to use that weapon only when there is no option remaining.
But still, Arjun did not used it in Mahabharata.
Lord Shiva sealed the mantra to summon Paashupatastra as he knew the effect of falling this weapon in wrong hands.
Narayanastra- It's shape is similar to Sudarshan chakra. But far more devastating.
It consists of two disc layers where one layer contains 50 crore pointed thorn like structures and similarly other layer.
Each layer rotates in opposite direction and throws the thorns like ICBMs while rotating. When resisted, it's power increases per the power of resistance. It's nullification is only possible lord Vishnu himself or Paashupatastra.
Ashwathama used it against Arjun but Krishna stood in front Arjun.
As Krishna was incarnation of Lord Vishnu, it unharmed him and, was turned into a garland and was placed in his neck.
I was always at HIS side.
HE was and is not by my side till date.
Still, Subhangam Dev chooses to serve HIS side.

This is fiction at it's best and should be labelled as such. In reality the dailogue between Shri Krishna and Karna is better than most knowledgeable men would be willing to acknowledge.

I don't want to pick at this but so many things are wrong. It feels Lord of the Ring x Tron inspired than Mahabharata. Mahabharata's whole point was to upheld justice, moral duty. It wasn't about power .
