Im sorry to hear this, my thoughts are with you. Sending you some loving energy, because i know some days are rough. My fiance, was killed a few months ago. These vids distract me for a while too.💚 so i know what you mean.....He was my bestfriend, my future, the love of my life. I thought i truly made it in life. I had it all. WE had it all. Then boom. Matter of seconds he was gone. And i had nothing. My bestfriend, the love of my life and my future disappeared in the blink of an eye. He was 1 of a kind. Simple, happy man, and I had never before, felt loved the way he loved me. I yearn for him daily, dishevelled and depressed witha broken wrist, on a couch in my grandmas basement. How did this happen?! where do I go from here?

Not being able to fight doesn’t necessarily mean that someone is weak, it just means that they never had the opportunity to gain experience fighting. The more experience you have, the better fighter you are; that’s a fact.

100% some folks have a predisposition for fighting. Maybe its a survival instinct idk. But there are people who learn to fight, and people who are naturals.
Experience is key a huge % of the time so im not disagreeing with the op. But i also agree with some other comments on ability vs education.

I learned quick by observing, not talking, and minding my own business. I also learned when you first step in the unit/block that if you don't look the type then someone might try to see where you're at. If that happens you gotta do what you gotta do but it's up to you to interpret the situation. Someone might approach you just to see if you are gonna back down with no intentions of actually doing anything. Stay out of the drama, stay humble, and don't let someone check you if you get whipped you get whipped but that's the way it goes.

But he was a little scared to go jail because he’s a small kid. He’s tall but skinny. Lol. The first few days he was there, he had some big dude say something to him and puff his chest out like he wanted to fight. My brother said he was scared but he stepped to the dude and didn’t back down. The dude wound up just backing off and didn’t do anything. Other than that my brother didn’t have any other problems for the rest of his time. Thank God! He just stayed to himself for the most part. He said he just wanted to do his time and go home.

everything you speak in this is str8 truth, sticking up for yourself is not going to keep you safe forever or stop it from contiueing to happen, and telling people if worst comes to worst they mite have to check in, you could have very well saved someones life if they take your advice, not being a loud mouth, and drawing attention to yourself is damn good advice, when i did time i was put in a rough dorm at first but with good behavior i was able to move to an honor dorm after a month, you are not lieing prison is no damn joke their are cold hearted evil people in their who will beat your brains out and not even bat an eye, lucky for me i never had to put my life on the line for my ramens and i thank god for that, you are speaking the truth thank you for your videos

These words of wisdom should serve as a warning to anyone wanting to commit crimes. Prison sounds worse than living a normal life period.

I'm new to these inmate advice channels, whi h I am loving, so thank you bro. I think the reason why they resonate, is that it is life advice on how to be a real man, in its rawest form. Us dudes in the open need a reminder of that every now and then, unfortunately.

    Should you "Never back down?"
As a general rule, of course you shouldn't back down. But you have to think about the nature of the confrontation you're in.
If they're coming around to rob everyone's canteen every week, they're not going to let you off the hook just because you fought back. Or else everyone would start fighting back, and their scam would be over.
You'd have to decide if your snacks are worth getting beat up every week. (They usually let you keep a snack for yourself anyway, as a way to keep things flowing.)
Another case where it might not be worth fighting: You actually are at fault, maybe by unintentionally offending someone.
They want to fight you, to keep their own rep. Most people won't blame you for a quick, "Hey man, I screwed up. I apologize. I didn't mean anything by it."
But it has to be done with the sense of, "I'm a decent guy, who made a mistake." Don't do it out of a cowering fear (even if you are feeling that inside).

Your comments on "The gift of gab" is one of the truest statements. I could totally relate to what you were saying. It's almost like a sixth sense that only certain people have. It involves being a good listener, having plenty of life experience, never lying or exaggerating while speaking, and keeping your mouth shut. These personality traits will carry you a long way in prison.

  • @13ivanogre13

I've never been to prison but I would imagine that being as physically relaxed as possible in your interactions with other inmates would help a lot. A guy who is obviously jittery about every little thing is going to get noticed and considered as a possible target. Being newly locked up and being nervous about it seems appropriate but you would need to get over that as soon as you can. Just like talking too much, being jumpy around people all the time could get irritating after a while.

True. When you lose everything and end up homeless or locked up the only thing you can keep is your honor and dignity. When someone would disrespect me on the street i would respond with severe hostilty. When life is good that same situation is easily blown off. When youre reduced to being an animal you have to struggle and fight to keep your humanity.

Apparently there are ways to earn respect in prison, but they mostly involve fighting, and don't always work. Here's my takeaway from watching this video:
    1. Be ready to fight
    2. Don't run your mouth
    3. Get religion
    4. Say no to things because leaders say no to things
    5. Fight

"Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him. And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him. And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear. Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be? In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me. But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled."

@Paul Martin "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
      Revelation 20:10‭-‬15 KJV
"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

I think it is so funny to hear people talk about "rats." I worked in the prison system for over nine years.
Most of your "shot callers" are CIs -- closet "rats." Even El Chapo worked the angle.
I don't care who you roll with, make your own decisions -- don't be a follower. Get yourself right and live YOUR best life.

Anyone who pretends it's fashionable to be a convict isn't a convict. All the rappers who pretend it's something "cool" that makes you "hard" haven't got a real sheet. Jail/Prison is not a badge of honor... it means you got caught
