When I saw the video was 13 minutes, I was thinking, boy that's really long for a video about stands. But then I watched the entire video and every second was useful info. Very helpful
I have both Neewer stand designs. I really do like the standard spreader leg stand design. It’s tall, it’s sturdy enough for my 600 watt GODOX strobes, it isn’t heavy. It functions well and is easy and quick to work. It’s really all I need, I have 4 of them. But I’m a gear junky so I bought a Neewer c stand. In my defense the c stand is mostly for use with the grip arm. I needed a strong, tall stand that could handle a little weight up high on a grip arm.
Im pretty sure their quality is on point. I have a few on my cart on Amazon for later. But i wouldn't put expensive light. Maybe some cheaper ones. But i could be wrong. They might hold on well.
Buy a jr to baby pin adapter, release the pole, place the adapter into the legs and you got a floor stand if you need to get lower to the floor with your light.

Wow, I can't ask for a better review than that! Thanks so much @JesseSkwierawski !!!
Good Video! I was tempted to get a C stand but I think now I'll get a spreader and add a boom are to that

I've got 2 of the newer c-stands that I mount PTZ cameras on, using an adapter for event streaming. Been doing it for almost 2 years with no issues.
Thanks for the long term use report Garou!
Great review, man!
Thank you!

This is a good review. Thank you
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for the comment!
The legs of my light stand were loose upon delivery. How about yours? And Is there a way to tighten them?
Ouch. I took a look at mine, and they are riveted in - so unless you have a way to re-rivet them - I don't think so. Sorry :(
can u use overhead lighting with the normal light stand
Like this? -> amzn.to/3FHXCJD or amzn.to/3zHS0eO
Yes. If you can find the arm bundled with a stand you can save a lot of $$$
@@DallasJyl thx i took the c stand newwwer for 190 canadiens yesterday. hope i wont regret it
@@FDFchannel1 You will likely need to counter balance the boom arm (depending on your light) in addition to a bad on the legs.
Very helpful. Thank you :-)
I'm glad it was helpful! Thanks for the comment :)
next step, you've to try the newer Combo junior pole stand .... amazing
What - Neewer has a junior stand?!?!? That would be awesome! ... where would I find one?

List looked them up on Amazon and... Ohhh! I need a few of these! Thanks @nordfilmcompany !
avenger c-stand 2018f is like $130. Compared to $120 for a neewer ones
Good to know -thanks for the tip Akraf!
Hé merci 🙏 🎥🎬
The entire video is out of focus. Just letting you know.
Ya... I hope that teaches me that skipping using my field monitor to see what I'm filming isn't a good idea lol!
