I had someone in my attic once. I have a picture somewhere that I took of someone peeking down into my bedroom from my attic door. I was frozen in bed when my cat noticed the door creak open I prepped my camera and when I saw movement i took a shot. When the flash went off the door slammed shut and I know I lost ten years off my life. I was home alone and terrified. It was the type of building where all apartment attics were connected into one big ass attic space so they could enter via one apartment and exit into the others at will. The complex owners sent out maintenance who refused to go up there when I showed them the picture, they just screwed the door shut. I moved out ASAP.
Idk man, once that shit was screwed shut, I just kinda moved on with my day. So much crazy shit has happened in my life honestly this wasn’t even that bad. I absolutely refuse to watch The Grudge now though hahahaha. I think back on it and I’m just really glad the camera flash scared them off because if they had meant me harm and had decided to enter at that point I would have been super fucked. I also kinda regret not calling the cops. Nowadays whenever my cats notice something I don’t see I’m always like “oh hell no” 😂
Oh that is hella unsafe, and should be against code! Everybody in the complex might as well have the same key if you can just casually go up into the attic, and come back down in someone else’s. I would’ve shitted my pants!

Last I checked in TX the statute for child SA is 10 years after turning 18. IDK if that's good or bad because when someone is ready to press charges it may be too late but also harder to convict after time has gone by. 😢
Years ago my sister woke me up terrified because there was a man with a hat sitting on her bed. Years later we learned about “hat man” and it’s exactly what she described. She can’t even talk about it without getting shaken up.

I actually visited the “suicide forest” in Japan. It was an odd experience. And all alone the path through the forest you can see ribbons tied up in the trees, people that are considering suicide there put them so in case the don’t want to die, can find the way back. Honestly, I went away from the trail and after a few meters you couldn’t see it anymore. Also, at uni I learned that going to the forest to die was an ancient custom of the Japanese.
In ancient Japanese culture it is believed that you have a better chance or easier time getting into heaven if you die closer to the sky, Mount Fuji is one of the tallest in Japan and so dying in the forest around the mountain is supposed to help you get into the sky and heaven.
@@ellelolla557 nope, just because my bf at the time wanted to go and he convinced me. I mean, if you put aside the fact that people go there to die, it’s a peaceful hiking

I've been following the Ramsey case for a while, and I think it was the little boy, her brother. And the family was obviously sad but tried to cover it up to protect their son. It's the only scenario that makes sense.
Yeah, I've always believed it was the brother and the parents covered it up so as to not ruin his life. I think what Former Boulder police chief Mark Becker, who was in charge of the investigation, said is haunting: “We know from the evidence she was hit in the head very hard with an unknown object, possibly a flashlight or similar type item. The blow knocked her into deep unconsciousness, which could have led someone to believe she was dead. The strangulation came 45 minutes to two hours after the head strike, based on the swelling on the brain. While the head wound would have eventually killed her, the strangulation actually did kill her. The rest of the scene we believe was staged, including the vaginal trauma, to make it look like a kidnapping/assault gone bad.” I think Burke hit her, and dad finished her off and covered it up later...which is just monstrous to me seeing what all was done to her.
There is an interview of her brother after years, and he was awkward as hell in camera. Not sure if it's anxiety or trauma reliving the past, but it was creepy and unsettling to watch. And yes, a lot of people are thinking it was a cover up, and it was his brother who hit her because she "stole" his cereal breakfast.
I'm really into unsolved mysteries, true crime, paranormal and all that stuff...it's so funny to me that they get scared of these..they're not even that bad 😂😂
You would be surprised how many people have had a person secretly living in the attic or basement and people kept wondering why they would randomly hear noises or food would be missing.
Aaaaannnndddd this is why I don’t have a basement and in Texas our attics are so hot 1/2 the year that there is no way a person could survive up there.
Murder is usually considered a felony offense and does not have a statute of limitations in the United States, meaning that a murderer can be held accountable decades later. However, judges may dismiss murder charges in cold cases if they believe the delay violates the defendant's right to a speedy trial. For example, waiting years for an alibi witness to die before starting a trial would be unconstitutional.

Looks like James hasn't seen the video of an elderly woman living in an attic or a cabinet, who only goes out at night. The only reason she was found was because the apartment owner kept finding his milk empty every week, which made him put up a camera in the living room. Then one time he checked the video, he saw the elderly lady crawled out, and it was so damn creepy too since she was on all four since the cabinet was so small.
James is like a girlfriend with something on his mind just waiting to throw shade and sass when someone does something minute to inconvenience him lol 😭
In the old days, people used to live in the loft/attics of the terrace houses in the uk because they had no walls to separate them, so they used to be able to go from house to house to house etc 🫣 what night terrors are made of
“Rem, i hope you’re proud of yourself. Cause I’m not sleeping tonight…. I don’t know about you? But this is the scariest shit I’ve seen” James is hilarious 😂😂😂
I can't remember which case from the vid it was (and I'm too scared to rewind and check 😭) didn't she die after two hours of assault or injury to head or something then got strangled, that don't sound like an accident

No judgement but I work for a charity that provides therapy for those who are suicidal and self harming, we are trying to change the language around suicide which includes 'committed suicide ' instead try using died by suicide or taken their own life. Not easy to change as I still say the wrong thing but just wanted to spread the message, love the pod guys ❤
James has never been more relatable than at the beginning of the video when he gets so upset that no one listens to him! 🤣 #YoungestChildProblems 42:25 Best immediate reaction

My stepfather died by suicide in a forest, too. We couldn’t find him for 5 months because he did it during the summer when all the leaves were obscuring anyone’s view. Then fall came, all the leaves fell off the trees, and some woman walking her dog found him. There was moss growing on his clothing and jewellery.
One thing you two or the crew should know is that Japanese people live in an empire and if they don’t end up in a high position or a job that makes high money in a big school after so many tries the shame the feel and sorrow is unmatched and bullying is another one but they feel like they failed their family and end up killing themselves. It’s how Japan has been for centuries
Movie title: The Forest. This movie is about these twins, one of which is a selfish little lady (hate her) who goes to Japan, to that very forest, to camp there and decide whether or not she would actually end her life. Her responsible twin sister decides she's going to fly all the way from home (America) to Japan to go look for her sister because twin telepathy and her love for her sister just can't allow her to not let things be. She winds up getting lost in that forest, the irresponsible sister winds up being the one found, safe and alive, and her loving, doting, responsible sister winds up being the one consumed by that forest (she committed suicide). I will never forgive her twin [irresponsible] for that. She should've gone back in and faced those consequences, that's what she wanted any way, but instead, her [responsible] sister took her place because that forest consumed her mind, and she wound up taking her own life, unknowingly.😢

5 years ago this month, I found my husband of 10 years hanging from the balcony of our bedroom at the house we shared with our then 6 and 7 year old daughters. 💔💔💔💔 There isn’t any amount of money I wouldn’t give to change everything and there isn’t amount of money that would make going into that forrest worth it. 😔
Well, thanks a lot for this. I live on the top floor on a block of flats in Johannesburg, South Africa. There's a trap door in the ceiling in the bathroom. And now I won't be able to sleep tonight coz I feel like that that's the "attic" door

Then one time he checked the video, he saw the elderly lady crawled out, and it was so damn creepy too since she was on all four since the cabinet was so small.
James is like a girlfriend with something on his mind just waiting to throw shade and sass when someone does something minute to inconvenience him lol 😭
James: No one listens to me, no one cares.
Fuhad: Shuuu (shut up), what's the challenge?
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love Rem’s laughter 😂
In the old days, people used to live in the loft/attics of the terrace houses in the uk because they had no walls to separate them, so they used to be able to go from house to house to house etc 🫣 what night terrors are made of
REM dying when James coughed sent me 😭😭
“Rem, i hope you’re proud of yourself. Cause I’m not sleeping tonight…. I don’t know about you? But this is the scariest shit I’ve seen” James is hilarious 😂😂😂

Id love if you guys react to creepypasta or specifically the Russian sleep experiment
In the Jonbenett case a lot of people thought from the beginning that the brother did it on accident and the parents are covering it up.
I can't remember which case from the vid it was (and I'm too scared to rewind and check 😭) didn't she die after two hours of assault or injury to head or something then got strangled, that don't sound like an accident
@@milky_core8944 yeah there was evidence for SA and she had skin under her nails from the person she scratched up...
if the brother did do it, damn that's some sibling fight 🤨
Wasn't she the one found "stuck" in the bed, acting like everyone over looked her body. B.S. absolutely they killed her
No judgement but I work for a charity that provides therapy for those who are suicidal and self harming, we are trying to change the language around suicide which includes 'committed suicide ' instead try using died by suicide or taken their own life. Not easy to change as I still say the wrong thing but just wanted to spread the message, love the pod guys ❤
I DIEEEDDDDD at Rems 'Broke Back Mountain' 🤣🤣🤣
“God would give me powers!” James said that.
Definitely do more of these true crime/ unsolved mysteries.
James being scared to sleep because of stuff that’s thousands of miles away from him is priceless 😂😂😂😂
If Ellis has 1 fan, I'm it. If he has no fans I'm dead🙏🏾
James has never been more relatable than at the beginning of the video when he gets so upset that no one listens to him! 🤣

Rem: "I don't have a multicolored one, I just have one that like pink and green."
Entire Studio, Audience on RUclips, and Creators of the Sweet : THAT'S MULTIPLE COLORS MY NIGGA
Damn. Didn't know that's how it worked tbh. In can imagine the depression and self loathing some of them feel.
Bringing shame to your family is a no no & its even seen as noble to.....
Lmao the sound of their mouths sucking on the candy 😂😂
Fuhad: I wouldn't GO to the forest!James: I wouldn't go to the forest!
Rem: I wouldn't go to the forest.
James: How much to go to the forest?
I need to see them watching true crime documentaries their commentary would be legendary
Great episode! Thank you, Rem, for the content!
James: That’s a lot of money.
Fuhad: That’s my life we’re talking about.
😂😂😂
One of the best reaction episodes thus far. We women love this stuff.
I’m almost certain Golden Gate Bridge is the ‘most popular’ I hate that, for ending ones life. How ever almost everyone that has survived the jump off has said they regretted it as soon as their feet left the ledge.
Can you explain their regret? Was it regret about their decision in general, or that they perhaps became physically handicapped because of the fall?
@@thirteenwolfiesregret about the decision in general, miraculously most of the people who survived aren’t handicapped
Not even 30 seconds in and y’all making James cry.
Seeing James be cheap with his life and Fuhad just flubbed at how low he goes 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Man's said "cursed energy's up"😂😂😂
5 years ago this month, I found my husband of 10 years hanging from the balcony of our bedroom at the house we shared with our then 6 and 7 year old daughters. 💔💔💔💔 There isn’t any amount of money I wouldn’t give to change everything and there isn’t amount of money that would make going into that forrest worth it. 😔
So sorry for your pain.
My God, I'm so so sorry for your loss ❤ I hope you're able to find some semblance of peace xx
watching this podcast had me checking my windows and doing a quick 360 every now and then
Well, thanks a lot for this. I live on the top floor on a block of flats in Johannesburg, South Africa. There's a trap door in the ceiling in the bathroom. And now I won't be able to sleep tonight coz I feel like that that's the "attic" door
5:02 😂😂😂 funniest shxx I’ve Eva seen Rem couldn’t keep it together lmao 👏🤣💕
the whole start is just ... Pause, Pause, Pause, Pause, PAUSE!😂
"Licky licky" 😂😂😂
Someone living in your house , hiding in the attic is called phrogging , there is a true crime series of the same name ! Sending love X
I love how everybody is talking all casual while one of their friends is dying in the background 🤣🤣🤣
That last story is my absolute worst fear. Theres also something worse than that, and that is if your at home and youre hears all that but then when you tell your partner, they just brush it off and dont listen to you. So then you cant leave cause you have to wait around to die first before they'll believe you..😂
The statue of limitation doesn’t apply to murder. However, the sentence is based on the laws at that time period.
When James said the cursed energy in that bihhh had me weak because I’m ngl jujitsu kaisen put you on game😂😂😂😂
when Rem said "broke back mountain" i was finished ahaha
Them shook by what women fall asleep to is hilarious
Yes please do field trips. As you become more and more popular, people will try to imitate you. It’s very important for your channel to evolve and bring new types of content. Great job with this new channel but eventually the people will want something new. I’ll be fan regardless tho ❤
James forgetting he put fuhad on to the Netflix mini series about the Cecil hotel is funny af
The dusty mummies got me dying lol 😂
Dusty baby aliens 😅😂
