Dude, I’ve been out of wow for 6-7years. I’m really hyped about it and I was really hesitating between hunter, rogue and Druid. Seeing all your duel gameplays convinced me playing Druid ! Thanks a lot about all your content. Keep it up !
Don't play rogue if you want good loot and lots of it. There will be 20-30 % rogues so good luck. Especially with dungeon groups since rogues are the most useless class in those. If you want ez wins in PvP Rogue is a solid choice though. Hunters are monsters in PvP and leveling, but fall a bit short in raids. Druids have not the best reputation, but in the right hands they are wonderful in both PvE and PvP
Jin I’m rather casual even though I like pushing my gameplay. I don’t have time for hardcore farming. So I’m ok with having an average char ;). I’m more interested in the complexity of it
Are you planning to do an updated video including Dire Maul gear (if there is any worth getting for PvP?) I've found this video extremely useful so far, so thank you!
I don't understand the clips after 4:55 with the training dummy. You're showing dps from 2 different sets than the ones you show in the beginning, one looks like a full PVP set which does more dps and one which looks like pure healing which does less? What point are you trying to make with this clip? Could you please elaborate? Love the video and very interesting to have different gear for different approaches. I never thought about stacking so much armor but that mitigation sounds insane. I love the idea of being such a hard to take down tanky beast.
He talks about mistakenly going full DPS gear with a feral build (or this feralish hybrid). The DPS he gains from the feral gear is very small compared to the 3k+ mana and other caster stats he gets from the full T2, because druid fighting is so much about Balance, mobility and sustain.
@@Sabellbu Ah, I see; thank you. So even if you intend to do lots of pvp as feral, it's arguably better to run a full healing set and try to stance dance in PVP than build a full feral set and stubbornly stay in cat/bear form?
@@Mekose many ways to go about it I think, the epic PvP set was good stuff for feral PvP and movement speed set bonus is godlike. Just the main take away here is, as he says in the video, that PvE BiS lists are PvE BiS lists. And PvE BiS with cloth healing items won't be optimal for PvP healing because of squishiness. And PvE DPS BiS lists won't give enough mana to constantly swap forms to break snares and all the stuff you must do in PvP.
Not disagreeing with most of ur choices from the video. Just noticing something is either fishy or misleading in the test dummy clip also. I'm pulling = numbers that u are hitting on a dummy at lvl 46 with decent items and in the clip u have seriously badass BIS couldnt be possible those numbers are correct?
Really had my heart set on playing more of a balance spec similar to what you see StormX playing. Is something like that just not possible in phase 1? Would bloodvine set not work for what you're doing here? (Druid fan but massive vanilla noob)
I am assuming that he picked wildheart over bloodvine for the better armor stats, as well as more survivability from the set bonuses. A little extra spell damage won't matter if you're squishy
want to roll a druid just so I can roll around in stealth and save allies from getting ganked by jumping out of the shadows and healing at the last minute
Any chance you can explain your choice of Slaghide Gauntlets of Defense (the 2:40 mark)? Would pretty much any other suffix be better for PvP? Seems like +defense would literally be the worst choice to me. Really enjoy all of your videos though! Thanks for the content!
Excellent video, keep up the grind until launch and I'm sure your channel will blow up this is very high quality. Theres still almost 3 months so maybe something to fill up a lot of videos would be a thorough leveling guide (for horde). I'm thinking basically an overview of your suggested route with details of quests to avoid/that have tricks, gear to try to pick up, when to do which dungeons. I reckon like 10 minutes on 1-10, 10-20... probably 5 levels per video closer to 60.
I see you pick up the 'Thick Hide' talent. Wouldn't you prefer some points into 'Feral Instinct' instead for better threat control? I don't think 'Thick Hide' scales in Dire Bear Form.
How would you say Druids are doing pvp wise in general at later phases compared to other major classes. Do thy get weaker and weaker whit each phase since other classes scale better with gear or ?
You basically answered your own question. Yes we do get weaker consider other classes scale better with gear. BUT druids are still that do it all class so we will never be bad just never as good as anyone else at one thing like tanking healing or dps. Adaptability is what makes druids great.
Hey, do you think you could comment about what quest rewards are important as druid? Since several of them (Blood of the Martyr...!) are one-time picks, and if someone isn't aware of their existence then that person could make a big mistake by picking something more easily replaced.
Is there any point in classic where going all out feral with OoC and high crit playable in pvp? Or is that simply a build where you hope for an immediate kill or bust?
The increase in dps isn't justified by the decrease in survivability with lack of swiftmend, imp rejuv and mana regen/combat + sustain. Druids aren't beating anyone competent straight up, therefore dumping all of your spec and gear into pure dps is wasting class effectiveness when you will in fact be shifting and healing vs other competitive players.
So the only upgrade from Dire Maul would be the weapon right? (for the high armor pvp set). Also, could you put out enchants for the high armor pvp set? And how does it transition for world pvp. Is it good or is this only good for 1v1s?
Cant wait to roll druid, I think I had a druid alt in Vanilla but I was always jealous of them endgame. Innervate, combat rez and their HoTs were so useful in endgame. So hyped!

What is the bis weapon for Hybrid pvp til nax comes out? Im really confused, should i get something with armor and attack power or intelligence and spell power for more dmg with dots?
You produce some really awesome content. Love it! Regarding the use of double 2-set bonuses, that isn't affected by the bonus from bear form, unlike armor on the actual gear, right?
I got another question ebbn: how would you spec/gear when you are most of the time supported by your priest friend (mostly healer)? we will also most likely level together, any suggestions for that duo comp?
Hmm, really depends on spec, but you still want a big mana pool for shifting, but you wont need to shift out as often because he has heals and dispels, you could take more traditional feral dps gear for pvp!
Thoughts on going into balance instead of resto, getting natural weapons, natural shapeshifter and improved thorns. Will this hold up for pvp in phase 1 using this gear?
You definitely could, It really comes down to playstyle and what works for you. I know some people don't agree with the points I use in heart/NS and thats fine because at the end of the day its about how you like to play. A key pvp talent is just to have NS as it will save you so often, but beyond that its personal choice!
Balance/resto is really great if you have good gear . You need a lot spellpower/healing , in addition to stam/int. Starting out at level 60 it will feel tough
@@Ebbnflow Looking forward to this. I'm really interested in your gold farming videos which seem to use a balance/resto approach. I plan on healing for raids to get good gear for PVP and I'm quite curious if I can keep that balance gold farming spec and still do good in lots of world pvp.
