    Asking if the simulation is accurate enough to simulate everything there is supposes that there is the reality to which you compare the simulation. But if we live in a simulation then the only reality there is for us is the simulation itself!

    Talking about infinity and simulations I always have to think about the Mandelbrot set. Fascinating stuff! You can create infinite non-repetitive detail with a simple formula. However, it's never instantaneous. It takes time to render it.
    So the key to understanding simulations is time. You can't simulate more stuff than there is stuff in realtime, but you can always take more time. And since our perception of time is completely arbitrary you can in fact simulate our universe within ours with time passing more slowly. Time sort of becomes entropy.
    However, a perfect weather simulation where you can't look ahead, just back, would be useless. But it would be a perfect copy of our world running a little slow. If you think that thought further the multiverse might be nothing but universal expansion in time. Every other universe expands away from our state. Our neighbour to the left expands more slowly and didn't even reach 2024 yet whereas our neighbour to the right is almost in 2026. And maybe the time domain is complex and you also have universes running at the same rate but in an alternate reality or even shifted in time.

    8:11 it doesn’t need to simulate all combos, we have it start from a relative data point or several and expand in relation utilizing databases for information but not like pre-rendered stuff. Like how the gasian splatting is the start and the ai generates the image from the variables.

    It seems this is related to the question of determinism.
    Without the assumption of universal determinism, it looks like a different problem.
    In the background of our observations, there's always a baseline of indeterminacy.
    The systems we're observing are immensely complex, and our observations are necessarily orders of magnitude too simple to capture this complexity.
    From this perspective, this universe emerges from noise.
    But, what good would a simulation be if it didn't exist on a background of noise?
    The simplifying assumptions of indeterminacy are indispensable mathematically, when it comes to actual simulations of this actual universe.
    We can't approach this problem without assuming limitations on our ability to simulate!
    While it may sometimes seem that assuming determinism is the only path forward logically.
    Assuming a complex relationship between determinacy and indeterminacy turns out to be the more accurate answer, scientifically.
    We're bringing order to chaos, not annihilating it.

      Its actually very easy to simulate once you realize that your brain is putting up a filter on reality... You will realize the very simple geometric shape and state of all existence... It is all mathematics and it is all reducible to the singularity AKA God AKA the Big bang which is the source in the Kaleidoscope reality for the rest of the Kaleidoscope to appear... We are all part of that source... We are all God all-encompassing all alone... Temporary division... It's fun... Far less overwhelming...

      Taking psychedelics is deadly poison that kills your three-dimensional potentiality... It locks you down your path of destiny... The more you take it the more you're locking yourself down your path of destiny and the less free will you have and the singularity doesn't like this it wants you to find this path on your own...

    Hmmm, i coded a simulation to axiomatically align with the notion that the sim itself was already part of some grander "simulation" which I just earmarked as reality. The sim by first principles definition kind of existed in a latent space of all sims, as a sort of evolving quasi platonic form among countless others. Curiously the model auto compactified its information state akin to the way compressed representations in AI come to be. Taking Sutskever's idea of compression as indicative of understanding in AI models, it was almost like this quasi platonic simulation setup, implied that deeper deeper self referential understanding of subsets is an inevitable trend emerging out of the substrate of grander reality simulation or not....

      @@whoever_81 If we never prove we are simulated, then yeah, it will never matter. But it could become relevant if we ever found evidence. Would look a lot like new physics.
      As for 'why not the opposite':
      We can easily model for situations where it is a simulation (and either very hard to prove or even impossible to prove.)
      This makes it extremely hard to model for a situation where there is a known 'not a simulation'
      How would you know it's not one of the many 'easy' options where it is a near flawless or flawless simulation?
      You'd need perfect information for the entirety of your universe in order to rule out the possibility of it not being a very high quality simulation.

    • @PrivateSi
      @PrivateSi 8 дней назад +2

      The idea is silly. Either it's a naturally occurring or created universe with no external control (though god-like beings may be able to enter it and certainly evolve in it). To say 'but we can simulate X,Y and Z' is a poor argument, because even our shallow simulations take so much power compared to what they POORLY simulate. Even with super-advanced computers this will always be the case. There's just no point making it as detailed as the reality we experience, with exponentially more detailed observations possible - unless it's NOT A SIMULATION, and the external, real universe works completely differently! That would be a Created Universe in its own right.

    • @realist4859
      @realist4859 8 дней назад

      @@PrivateSi if god like beings can enter it, that is the same as it being simulated from within their environment.
      No one is saying the simulation has to be run on a classical computer. Just that there is a more fundamental equivalent of 'hardware' in an environment that is not inside this universe.
      If there is no thing simulating us, then any proposed god like beings would have to already be in the universe and therefore cannot 'enter' it.
      Even the mind of god can be equated to the 'hardware' that is simulating the universe.

    It seems to me that the real thing cannot be copied because it is quantum information. For example, a technically perfect copy of Brian is not Brian. That's another very Brian-like thing. Therefore, it seems to me that my experience of the world is rather some kind of quantum state (e.g. quantum entanglement with the world), rather than a copy of the world created based on the information received from the sense organs. If so, we can't be in a simulation. because the simulated experience would be easily copied.

      @sulljoh1 oh yes we will need a Ubi based off the total automated production percentage of the GDP to protect the consumer Market from inevitable collapse I have since then worked on very many bipartisan policies for the future... I see you inevitabilities and I've work to address them. The automation problem is a inevitability therefore I had to solve for it... When Ubi is implemented it will be my system. Basically we can calculate how much tools to help us increase our production capacity and how many humans have it take to replicate that production capacity without those tools and that would give us a sliding Ubi value so the more we automatically production in the economy the more money we get to spend in the consumer Market to protect the consumer Market from inevitable collapse due to automation ai and robotics... We can acknowledge the amount that we should be receiving today and we can slowly ramp up to that amount starting off very low it will be issued on a government-issued debit card so if it is used on the card it is 100% tax free but if you pull cash out then you pay a higher cash transaction tax rate this is to incentivize the basic level cash free economy without forcing it on the population... This will be 100% tax free if used on the card so it has a incentive. The most important part is changing the natural born citizen status which is going into effect under the Trump administration... We are aligning the necessary components and setting up operations... We will get Mexico operating under the new America... The new border will be the Panama canal which is only a 50 mi stretch...

    Dr Keating, Simulation can be presented as a logical, but... by accepting tons of speculative assumptions. It will be easy to understand the nonsense of this concept by asking the simple question - where the brain of the "Observer" (you) is situated? It is a "Simulation" also? Who creates the "Observer"? And the last question is - Is Physics has no more credible subjects to discus? What was the last (or the first) fundamental element discovered by Modern Physics?

    6:18 size and complexity don’t tell you what is relative but expand our sight into the relative. It doesn’t take small or big to find but relative. Our brains are messed up lmao. In my opinion we can’t even agree to live together because we deny each other every step. Reality isn’t binary. New stuff happens. Binary is like saying the real is real when current and the rest of it is unreal… that doesn’t make sense to me. Relativity reveals how infinity is connected through the differences. God is not a singular toy in the box but all the toys and the potentials and the expanded relatives connected. Now you may say infinity isn’t out there yet and to that i say, it’s just waiting for a foundation to share with it and birth it into being. Like an idea transforming through relativity into a free, relative dimension like a person place or thing. Infinity doesn’t have a singular identity but all of us are part of it and expanding in relation. It’s spitting at us but we just see the stars shoot past. Listening to the world is like watching it as it waves and paying attention or reflecting the measurements and not denying but understanding them. It’s growing our prediction and relativity. If that doesn’t make sense to you, I’m sorry I’m confusing.

    Yes, we live in a simulation. But NOT in a computer. We are experiencing a simulation in The Mind that is ALL; The Mind we call "GOD." We necessitated this painful experience through an error that we made, an irrational desire (as I explain elsewhere). And this experience is designed to solve the problem and return us to absolute ("base") Reality by teaching us to overcome that irrational desire. But organized Christianity corrupted the "GOOD NEWS" of Yeshua One with Christ ("Jesus Christ"), which is why I was sent to set the record straight. Elijah has returned, as prophesied, and testifies.
