Christmas Train 2024

Starting in Cocoa, FL me and Anthony ‪@FECRailfanner‬ would chase this train as far as New Smyrna Beach as David M Shelly is retiring after 53 years and this would be his FINAL train he runs! We would catch him at the Cocoa stop, and also have a few convos with David before he was back on the way North.. only to talk to him more and make more memories at New Smyrna where they stopped once more.. LOL!
Also in the pack of people and children receiving gifts was a ton of Railfans. Good to meet you all too, thanks for coming out! And I am excited for everyone who finally got to meet Mr. She'll as seen in the video, as many had only ever seen him on the trains rushing by at 60mph.
Either way, it was a pleasure to come out and do this, it was worth every penny of gas for the drive!
