My girlfriend and I watched the whole series in French some time ago, it was her first time watching it. The original ending theme played at the end of each episode, I knew what it spoke about, but I couldn't tell her what it was about for the majority of the show until Andre was becoming blind... the only thing about this ending is that it spoils events that come in pretty late
He says 'I can't see you anymore' and I implief that either he's dying which I didn't hope for so I was like maybe he's leaving somewhere. BUT WHERE IS HE GOING??? Never in my life had I imagined that he meant that sentence literally. That he can literally not see her anymore because he is turning blind😭 And I was also confused why his voice overs stopped at the endings at some point but it was after he confessed and then the first part with 'I can't even tell you' didn't make sense anymore. So much thought put into it🥺
I remember doing a dub in English with my friends back in the day unofficially but it was alot of fun playing my part in it honestly one of my favourite parts of life is spending time with my friends
