but the luxx wouldnt be lost with a dedicated screen. i personally use a blitzwolf projector and a dedicated screen which cost more than the project itself and it actually has a rating of possitive 0.1 so its actually a brighter reflection than the input is what i believe the positive and negative rating of a quality projector screen and not just a wall. to optimize a wall you'd need special paint. is it google tv certified? anything google certified as google tv it will be fine. if they give you that for keeps get a dedicated projector screen i personally avoid those cheap fabric screens they leak light i use one thats on a tripod mount on the ground im sure then you will get those deep blacks. i certainly am on a budget projector that i got for £60 with an £85 screen.
can you help ? bought cosmos max 2 years ago but just switched on for the first time 1/10/23 led comes on and nebula logo but does not go to android set up it just goes off and then back on {nightmare) can you help, anker wont help as warrantly is out of date. regards john
Seems like a great product, but I am confused who their target audience for this is. For the price it really doesn't make sense for home use when compared to competing products. And as a portable projector the speakers are nice, but the odd shape and bulky power brick make it awkward for travel. You'd be better off with their extremely lower speced but vastly cheaper and smaller capsule or solar line unless you absolutely need 4K. Which at that point you might as well go with the cheaper Viewsonic X10. Honestly, it only seems appealing/competitive if it receives a price drop 🤷🏻♂️
Totally agree with you!!! For that price I could get an epson, benq or optoma, all 4k and brighter projectors for a home use probably the benefit is the lamp light bean more longer compared to the big brands
review some budget projectors ,if possible. Something with above 10k conterest ratio .most of the budget projectors comes with low conterest and fake lumin numbers, they need pitch black room for best viewing.
Some are terrible and not worth it. A while back I got a $199 1080p one and it was so dull. Also didn't look like 1080p to me. More like 720p. I will be reviewing a few more soon. The next one is a 1080p unit that's about $700 so not budget sadly!
It's impressive Chris! Especially when you think of how flexible and portable it is. But is it worth getting over a big screen tv with a surround system for about three same price? Good one Chris👍👍
Not really sure if it is. But you can use this to get a big as 150" and a huge 4k TV 85" ones are like $2500! So a lot more money for a huge TV but they will not have an OLED TV quality the projectors. I've been really enjoying this one at just 105" inches I measured and will connect it up to some larger speakers.
Is there a light and non-professional software to align the image if the projector is placed sideways with the hdmi cable? (for reasons of space I cannot project with the projector straight ...) I have a mini-projector the dragontouch mini z1 which with android 7.1 allows me to position the projector where I want and to have a large or small square or rectangle, (the problem is that when I connect the hdmi cable, the image resets itself, deforming ... obviously). A software for the hdmi connection or that makes the image I set the size of the device appear ??? (it has keystone correction but it only works if everything is centered, plus the keystonec does not allow me to shrink the image and change the shape)
It has vertical and horizontal keystone correction so with horizontal keystone correction you can properly square the edges even with the projector off center.
@@Jham2282 For my mini-projector it is not exactly as you say ... (with android yes, but when I switch to the hdmi cable it is as if I have only the vertical keystone) But anyway I really appreciate the fact that you answered me, thank you and see you next time
im using a tripod screen which has a very thick material more expensive than the project i use and was a worthy investment. i also invested in a thicker curtain liner too gave me nice heated room too and nice dark room too.
@@EvryGama it's not upscaled. You get true 4k image, but it's displayed in four 1080p squares for every frame. Which has it's own issues, but you do get every pixel.
When used for gaming, input lag is not an issue for this projector in non-competing games or non-fast shooters. It is not recommended for competive gaming. Remember, it is a projector, it will have natural lag because the light has to travel farther.
7:05 No, actually the smaller you make it the less sharp it will become because it's digital zoom, so it's just cropping the native resolution and digitally resizing. It's like if you had a movie playing in full screen and then you made it windowed mode and then kept making the window smaller. It's terrible. Keystoning is also terrible, it does the same thing but only for certain parts of the image. Unless you can position this projector perfectly I wouldn't buy it. No optical zoom and no lens shift.

Not gonna lie i thought at first that's a vacuum cleaner bot 😂
@Kwistenbiebel200 yup that counts to but I'm impressed by the projection quality
Haha well I have a vac here I'm testing so a review of the vac cleaner bot at some point is coming for you! 😂
Oi oi oi. First review of yours I’ve stumbled across. Clearly unbiased and very well edited/organized. Thanks mate
I wasn't supposed to watch every minute of this but your reviews are great!
Always the best reviews with attention to detail
I appreciate that!

How can it reflect more than what is projected? That's Impossible.
You can get better blacks out of a projector with an specialiazed projection screen.
Do you lose detail when the image is 100 inches or does it maintain sharpness/resolution up to 120 or 150 inches?
Exciting new product and an excellent review to go with it. Well done, C! The sound was as good as the picture.
Thanks. Been enjoying it over the last few weeks, my studio has become the movie room!
@@Techtablets I was sent three much cheaper projectors, but they in no way compare to your newbie. I hope you get to keep it.

waiting for chinese brands like vivibright, AAO and so on to release their 4k models. currently using an AAO native 1080p and its superb
Hi is your name Khalid
Product link for me
Hdr? Hdr10+? Dolby vision?
It sounds cool and cutting-edge edge. I like the size when it comes to a projector, not a speaker.
I have not watched the video fully yet but what's the price for this?
1600 USD.

Discount code don't work
If you project at an actual screen, you can get much better contrast than with a wall.
Yes sadly I don't have one of those screens (yet) If I review more projectors I will buy a grey screen.
@@Techtablets Yeah, I Saw you mentioned it in the end. My bad, sorry.
Awesome review! One question I see kind of a rainbow effect is that just caused because of the camera footage or does it look like that in real life ?

In a dark room, use gray screen/wall. Deeper black

One remark, with DLP Projectors you get deep blacks, only LED projectors are not capable to do that.
Hello i love your videos. Liked.
Hey, thanks
So does it have a native 4k resolution?
Yes this one does its not a fake 4k
@@Techtablets So than it' s one of the cheaper 4K-Projectors and it sounds interesting in your review 😉👍
Thanks for the nice review! 😃
It's pixel shifting 4k. So not technically native 4k when it comes to projectors, but true 4k is very expensive.

Too expensive for a projector that's not even laser projector.
How much
The Expanse ❤️
Wow they gave you to review chris? Omgod gg bro
Yeah thanks
I would buy it, but 1500 lumens is too low..
Well I have a new one coming in the channel that's got 2200 Lumens and 4k 60hz and another that's 3000 Lumens also 4k.
This is just $1000 projector to me but they want $1600. I’ll wait for something else better for $1600
To much money for a no-name brand rather go with a brand that has a history such as LG or Epson. Etc. etc.
Nebula = Anker. I would not call that a no name brand.

Can hardly wait
Excellent review as always Chris
This projectors keep getting better , recently i got the blitzwolf wp6 1080p and I like it
Nice 👍
Definitely not the best for its price..Horizon Pro easily far better..For a LED light source 1500 ANSI Lumens is total 🗑️
Is it me or the colors are horrible?
It's very hard to capture exactly how it looks but better than what is shown.
1500 lumen is weak
❤️❤️❤️
