Looking at this tank really makes me reminds of that old and classic 1988 movie "The Beast"; an American movie about Soviet T-55 operating in Afghanistan war. Funnily enough, the "T-55" they used in that film was a Tiran 4S, and they acquired the tank from IDF surplus stock thanks to the assistance of Dale Dye- Military technical advisor that also famously known for his role in Saving Private Ryan (technical military advisory/training, and acting as one of the commanding officer in Utah Beach that gave Captain Miller to save Private Ryan) as well as his role in Band of Brothers (training/advisory, also acting as Colonel Sink)
I think that's one of the reasons that they put a 105mm in it, they can easily supply themselves with 105 munitions but Russia probably wouldn't have agreed to sell them more 100mm shells.
If you look at the tank from the side it looks like the front is raised more compared to the back. Not sure if its accurate or not but it gives you less gun depression.
I think the ztz59a is best t54 BR wise, has a vertical stabiliser, laser range finder and br412d at same br but only 100m but I'd trade for 5mm less for the other benefits

I love Israel's TT, even though it could still use more vehicles, I like the whole idea of taking anything available being soviet or western and modify it to suit your needs. The biggest issue with Israel right now is that they start with a very rough lineup with pretty bad performing vehicles, so it's really hard to get into. The HEAT shermans as cool as they look are trash in WT, and let's not talk about the missile half track...
I've always thought about it. Maybe its a dumb idea, but what about the idea of a winch system in those times you get stuck without a team mate to help?

I used to play the fuck outta this thing. It's actually super effective against Russians in general or anything that mains aphe and has good armour. Or it was until apds got fucked up and now it feels shitter than heat

I wish I could get into the Israeli tree without buying a premium, but the M-51 is just absolute trash. Slow, basically no armor at this BR and the HEAT has so much post-pen a rude word would deal more damage to an enemy. No to mention the shells have a hitbox twice the projectile's size, making them snag on trees or gun barrels.

US sold in limited capacity, France pulled out on many deals, Britain sold in limited capacity, most of their stock were vintage WWII and scrapped vehicles from various countries near the region..

I prefer the 100mm on the non S model. The BR412D is such an amazing round and trading it for 105 APDS feels like a sin.

The breach is modeled wrong it should be much smaller since its a M68 105
