    1:11 If Juniper is unable to store water 💦, can we place gelantine-water crystals & slow-release fertilizer into the soil to assist this?

      I've never tried - but you want to make sure the soil isnt wet because the Juniper dislikes that. So instead of figuring out some tricks with the soil, I recommend to learn how to water it correctly using the inorganic soil mixture we recommend (mixing lava, pumice and akadama).

      @@bonsaiempire Thanks. Maybe I will also experiment with water-gel crystals. They are being used in growing plants in deserts. I will also try slow-release fertilisers
