Music just pores from this women. She is a one of a kind talent. What a voice, what a song writer, and I have seen her in concert multiple times and she is magnificent.
Loving these (restored?) performances! I'd always hoped for technology to get good enough to recover the 90's live shows properly instead of the patchwork of rough scans of vhs tapes that we've had. These all need to be properly preserved so future generations can discover these treasures for themselves.

Sarah, FTE was my introduction to you & I’m so thankful for that. This video reminds me of seeing you on this tour and then again during the Surfacing tour & at Lilith Fair. The size of the venue got bigger (thank goodness, because you had so many more fans by then) but the artistry didn’t change. Thank you for those wonderful shows and most of all - your beautiful music!!

I hear this song as a birth mother giving away her child for adoption to the vultures of adoptive parents waiting almost hurrying her along and how she feels at that moment that day with the child she holds feeling her breath close to her own body in the bed and then lets go of to a nursery cot behind glass staring thru the glass and leaving, relinquishing, not because she didn’t love her less but because she isn’t in a place where she can give what the little one needs. It makes me feel such depths of emotion and empathy as I listen.
