To accept error and through true love of God to correct your path.. that is a true man to admire. I came out of Protestantism from ‘the church of Nazarene’ to RCC. Wow somthing that impacted me was that how in the world did we get a different interpretation hundreds of years later when we have the teachings of Christ and the apostolic church and the deciples of the apostoles who were taught and decipled for years wow that impacted me and then i thought about the erroneous and false doctrins that have been made through sola sriptura and how paul warns us of flase doctrines and doctrines of demons

This is why the New Testament is the Mass that then became a document. In other words a liturgical worship of God. Because since the Hebrew people God established how He wants to be worshiped, not like men, since the Protestant reformation think they should worship Him.

That's how one becomes saved/born again. And then the spiritual growth continues(Holy Spirit works in us) until the last breath, so that there's more Christ and lesser us. Hello, Why would a Muslim use the johannine comma to to debunk the Trinity? I actually never heard about the Joannine comma before. I looked it up, but I was trying to see if you may have additional true knowledge on this topic. Thanks!
What does it ultimately mean for Protestants, who don’t have the liturgy/sacraments, if they’re still trying to become closer with God? How much does it matter? I moved from Protestant to orthodoxy bc it made sense to me personally, but not everyone has had my experience
It means that they aren't part of The Church, that's a pretty big deal when going over Scripture and the Church Father's teachings. Fr. Seraphim Rose put it pretty simply "Orthodoxy is the Church founded by Christ for the salvation of mankind, and therefore we should guard with our life the purity of its teaching and our own faithfulness to it. In the Orthodox Church alone is grace given through the sacraments (most other churches don’t even claim to have the sacraments in any serious sense). The Orthodox Church alone is the Body of Christ, and if salvation is difficult enough within the Orthodox Church, how much more difficult must it be outside the Church.!"
Sam have you ever done anything on Mark 3:21-35 I have seen enemies of the faith try and say Mary and Jesus' family thought he was crazy in this context and try to claim he isn't God? I tried to search for some articles or streams by you on this topic. The Markan sandwich. I interpreted it was Mary and her group never thought Jesus was out of his mind because she was visited by the angel in Luke 1 so she fully knew who Jesus was and he could heal people and so on. Also that mary and his ACTUAL brethren didn't show up until later on after the statement had already been made that he was "out of his mind" maybe by the separate group of people who were being referred to as the ones close to him?
It’s such a simple and obvious argument but if you’re committed to the presupposition of Protestantism you simply can’t see it. But once you’re honest and recognize that God’s Church inspired by the Holy Spirit preserved the correct doctrine, scripture, hierarchy, etc etc… You simply cannot be Protestant anymore. It’s impossible. It’s simply not the Church Jesus founded. It’s a complete innovation and it hasn’t worked.
