@a.m.studios6126 Aye. During the Sack of Highgarden, I served with Jaime Lannister's company. We had won fair and square, we captured the place, and killed that old hag Olenna Tyrell. We were transporting our finds back when these... screams and thuds came from over the mountains. Out came these Dothraki men, yelling. But not out of fear, not out of hate, but out of joy. They wanted this. Ser Jaime had us put up our shields, and just before they struck, Gods protect us, I still don't believe it, I still don't want to, but something came over that hill. It was no dragon. It was a monster sent from the seventh hells, and that dragon wh*re was leading it straight towards us. I turned back, expecting an order. Of retreat from Ser Jaime but he stood still. I stood, out of formation, waiting for an order, but then a searing blaze of fire came from that demon's bowels, and nearly burned that entire company carrying our siege weapons and food. Then, it turned to our infantry, and even though I had to have been 30 feet away when it first struck, I felt those flames as if they were pressed against my face. The entire field was covered in screems from our own men and those Dothraki savages, I ran, only to be struck by one of their horses. I remember waking up and being rallied to her and the Lannister Dwarf. She forced us to bow the knee, and burned two Lords who refused. So yes, I remember that day very, very well.
As the first century of the Targaryen dynasty came to a close, the health of the Old King, Jaehaerys, was failing. In those days, House Targaryen stood at the height of its strength with 10 adult dragons under its yoke. No power in the world could stand against it. King Jaehaerys reigned over nearly 60 years of peace and prosperity. But tragedy had claimed both his sons, leaving his succession in doubt. So, in the year 101, the Old King called a Great Council to choose an heir. Over a thousand lords made the journey to Harrenhal. Yep, When Aegon the Conqueror was crowned the High Septon said that he is the Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and also to make it closer to Seven,a number considered as sacred by many Westerosi.
Because they still claim Dorne. Do you think Aegon the Conqueror would be nice and concede his title to the people who killed his wife and one of his dragons, then tried to assassinate him? Besides, "Seven Kingdoms" is a historical region of Westeros. "Six Kingdoms" wouldn't make sense because there never were "Six Kingdoms" prior to Aegon's Conquest.

Why they said seven kingdoms? Dorne Has not been conquerd yet
Yep, When Aegon the Conqueror was crowned the High Septon said that he is the Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and also to make it closer to Seven,a number considered as sacred by many Westerosi.
They bonded through marriage tho
@@Hash_kw yes but long after Jaehaerys I
Because they still claim Dorne.
