I am also puzzled with the kind of love Zakir and Shahrukh command but I have come to the conclusion that despite them being skilled at their job, the prime reason for this kind of adulation is the dream and hope they are selling. They look like people we'll find around ourselves, they began their journeys from similar mohallay as us. For people who want fame and money, they are a light of hope that if Zakir can achieve this coming from nowhere, so can I. And for people who don't aim of fame, they feel like like they are one of us.

I find it really weird that India and Pakistan are separate countries. A Malayalee and a Manipuri are the same nation-state, but Punjabis living a few meters apart are not? Hopefully there will be a reunification or at least a reconciliation in our lifetime. Yemen did. Germany did. Why not the subcontinent

Delhi people always overhype their food 😂 but yeah there are many other places also. Lucknow, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Goa, Kerala, Tibetan from Himachal have good food imo. Delhi has great Tibetan and NE options as well.
