I will take pocketability and light weight over having a giant phone screen. I would rather watch things on an ipad/laptop anyways - phones are never the best experience for that. The mini truly shows what a phone should be - blazing fast, awesome cameras, lightweight, all-day battery and can fit in any pocket
Had mine for about 2 weeks and its great. Came from a V60 and s21 ultra. Gonna be hard going back to having a massive phone in my pocket but not anytime soon.
Spot on. Couldn’t agree more. I’m gonna rock my mini till it’s unrockable. And from what I understand, I have several years till that day comes. And my favorite part, I can slip this puppy in my pocket and hop on the bicycle for a ride. I’m off! Take care.

This. I’ve switched from an iPhone 14 Pro max to a 13 Mini and never been happier, I don’t need a big screen if I do most of my media consumption on a tablet. My pocket and my hand are grateful for the change.
I really wanted a “big” phone, as I’ve always had them, (Pixel XL, iPhone plus, Galaxy’s) however, when I went back to iPhone , they had no other models so I settled for the mini. I gotta say, I love it! It’s cute, it’s not actually “small” and the battery is GREAT! love this phone, fits right in my hand. Too bad I hear they are ditching the mini models
This is Me to a T. I have had the 7 Plus, 8 Plus & the switched back to the 11. I thought I would be happy with the "Bigger" phones and I was wrong. I just missed the small phone that fits in my pocket and feels easier to handle. Last week I traded the 11 in and picked up the mini 13 and it was the best thing that I could have done. Less is way more in My case.
I had the 12 Mini and I loved it but the battery was shit. Only 4 months of using it and the battery capacity was already down to 94% (which was just absurd). I ended up getting the 13 mini because I had a free upgrade and let me tell you, this phone is absolutely amazing. My capacity is still at 100% and I’ve had it the exact same time (4 months)
That’s great to hear. Mine after almost 6 months is down to 92% and I use my phone for work so I’m charging before the end of my time on the job or I’m throwing low powered mode on. I was thinking of getting a 13 eventually (or if I can hold out get the 14 model) but I do want to support the mini size so see how the next few months work out
I’m using the 12 mini, should i get the regular 13 or 13 mini again? My only concern is battery
@@Dr.Ijaz_ab If you like the size of your mini and you don't want to go bigger, definitely get the 13 mini. My maximum capacity is STILL at 100%. I charge my phone every night normally on my mag safe charger if you were wondering how I still have mine so high still
The 12 mini battery is not that bad, it’s pretty decent if you’re not using it like a large phone.

I switched to the iPhone 13 mini from the regular 12 earlier this month, and it’s been AMAZING. This thing gets me through the day no problem; it’s actually been better battery-wise than what I was getting on the 12. Plus no more hand cramps or hand gymnastics! And the cameras are WAY better than the 12. I totally notice how crazy good the photos/videos come out when using this thing. Best upgrade for sure! (And that Product RED colour is so gorgeous).
In most battery tests, the 13 mini is actually getting better battery life than the 12 pro max which is crazy
@@midnitestate it's absolutely bonkers the battery improvements this year over last year's models. Any iPhone you choose this year will ease any concerns about battery life, including the mini. Still very amazed at its performance and what it can do for such a compact device!
Am using Samsung Galaxy phone for years, i chance upon 13 mini, and fall in love with the size n quality build. 512gb selling in Singapore at $1299 is just so attractive price to own it . The promo price is only for RED colour. Am a happy owner of the 13 mini now and I plan to use it for the longest period possible since is a 512gb model. I hardly change new phone as my last phone was Samsung note 10 plus which had served me well. I would said that Android is good too, but Samsung phone for Galaxy S23 just not as attractive as 13 mini. From 6.8 to 5.4 screen size, I can n willing to give up my bigger screen for this ultra portable size 13 mini, feel so relief holding this 13 mini on hand n the screen resolution is so nice. The form factor for this 13mini is just so amazing, it seems to me that we have lost touch of what a handle portable phone should be. This 13 mini is the RIGHT size for a mobile phone to be, the weight n design built is so good. The speakers is loud too , there are so many beautiful casing out there for this 13 mini . I hope apple will seriously keep this 13 mini form factor and come out with a pro model for this mini model. In fact, I feel that this should not be called a mini phone , to me most of the bigger phones in market now is considered a mini tablet rather than categorised them s as a mobile phone. If iPhone did not name this as mini, and market this as a regular phone packed with a punch of good specs, I believe the sale for 13 mini will be good. I love this 13 mini phone so much….a small compact , powerful A15 chips which will last for years of update from Apple. I don’t think I will ever go back to bigger phone now , it has been very long time since I am able to put a small handy phone into my pocket n feel….NOTHING !11 That’s is amazing knowing you are having now a very powerful little monster phone with you around. I have a 256gb iPad 12.9 pro with me, a mini with a big pro iPad, an awesome match n powerful workhorse for my daily work usage. Simply very happy with it !11
I'm gonna get mine on Monday (Feb 14) and I am super excited! I come from Redmi note 8 Pro (Jan. 2019) and upgrading to iPhone 13 Mini Red (Feb 14 2022) I used my own money on this one and I'm so proud.
Although i was a bit skeptical about getting the mini since i came from a huge screen. So maybe I'll get adjusted to a "small" screen in time. Anyway, I think i love the idea of running without my phone being so heavy on my pocket. Lol
I absolutely love my iPhone 13 mini. It’s the perfect size for a smartphone, has amazing performance, will last for years to come, and has had great battery life. The screen is plenty big enough for everything you need to do with a phone.
I have an Idea for Apple's next mini Phone: keep the same Length
& Width dimensions to keep it pocket sized, but make it
thicker to match the battery life of the max models, &
include the same cameras & processor as the Pro &
Max models, and call it the iPhone 14 Pro Mini.
Guaranteed to be a huge seller!
I've had this same thought. If they made it thick enough that there was no camera bump and added a bigger battery, it would be perfect.
@@griffensander We need to spread this idea and get it out there so many people start requesting it to Apple, and hopefully they will listen. I’ve heard the mini is going to be discontinued & slow sales are the reason why. This kind of a revolutionary design would no doubt reverse that. The iPhone 13 mini has a perfect footprint and a great size screen, it’s just that the battery and camera system are lacking, if they can tackle those issues and make a mini pro version it would probably be their best seller ever.

There will NEVER be a Pro mini.
Just picked up the 13 mini this week and it feels great going back to a smaller phone. I had the X for a number of years but wasn't on board with the big phone, I've yet to own any device over 6" of screen and most likely will never. I thought the 6S was the perfect size phone; going from 4.7 to 5.8 was an adjustment. And even after 3 years with that device, I wanted to go back. the 5.4" 13 mini is great, feels good, easily compact, and a great device. I've heard Apple will do away with the mini's since the masses love big phones. Maybe if a future SE model goes up to 5.4 I will consider. Also, I agree 100% that a pin hole notch on a device like this would have been ideal. Again, maybe a future SE model
I got the pro first, then after 2mo of usage, i switched to the 13mini
@Nick® switching from a 13pro to 13mini definitely will save you from the possibility of developing carpal tunnel in the future~😂I use iPhone solely for work (group chat is easier). For personal use, I got the Z Flip 3 as my main daily driver. Google assistant is far better than Siri in my opinion, plus I get to customize fonts as well as calling backgrounds etc(I use a firework vid clip which I shot over the summer as my calling background). Anyways, phone is just a phone, whichever one you feel like it just go for it~

I have the iPod touch which they recently just discontinued😢and I really love the iphone 13 and my hands😅so i looked at the iPhone 13 mini and really liked it this video really helps me
I think they could very easily do the holepunch and fingerprint reader in the power button on the iphone mini (which makes the best sense there because the notch is very noticeable on the smaller display) and it would boost the sales because it would be the only iphone with a holepunch and they wouldn't have to end the mini lineup here. I will pick up the iphone 13 mini 128gb in starlight and am very excited for it. I've never had a flagship and i very much like small phones.
Recently I bought the Iphone 13 mini. And like it a lot. Yes, the phone is not good for Amazon Prime video, or for gaming. But I have a PC for that. As mobile device, this Iphone is really good though.

Im sorry but ever since phones started to get bigger i lowkey started to hate the phone market, tbh I've dropped and damaged my phone more due to fiddling and doing finger gymnastics. Im glad apple put a good phone in a smaller body definitely got me hooked

I'm considering this phone right now for my upgrade since they're offering it to me for 300 with a trade in.
I am so sick of ill informed people saying the 5.4 inch mini is the same size as the 5.5 inch 6, 7, 8 Plus. It's NOT! They each have different aspect ratios and thus the Plus phones have screen sizes that are about 18% bigger. I hate the diagonal description for phones and wish screens were described in terms of area so people can get proper information.

Having a phone that fits comfortably in my pocket is the most important aspect of a phone for me so I’ll always buy a small phone where possible. I use my phone to call, text and take the odd photo - that’s it. If Apple stop the mini phones then I’ll need to look elsewhere.

Correct, I'm using 1 sim card and one eSIM. ESIM uses the same a mount of power as a physical sim though.
Also, fun fact: you can actually get a dual physical sim iPhone in China.

Same as you Griffen, I've switched from a OnePlus 7 Pro to the IPhone 13 mini. Had to change as old phone had a cracked screen and had locked up on me a couple of times. The Mini is equal if not better in functionality and the best part, it fits easier in my pocket.
I hate big phones I have the 13 mini and it's amazing!!! If I wanna watch something I have 2 MacBooks but the screen is still big enough to watch videos on here

Lightning is a more robust charging port and more compact as well so I really don’t understand the hate. Yes it’s slower and proprietary but most people only charge at home overnight anyways so what’s the problem?

That’s sad a tech reviewer saying this you obviously know nothing about tech if you say this phone is good battery is bad cameras grainy screen is far to small is a poor phone for poor people!
