Wow, the end of that was sobering. Keep it up Bud. We need a Bud/Jeff Cameron lamentations session post season. Hope Ingram is ok. The snub & Kirby stole Mike's soul.
Long time fsu fan and I'm very worried that this program is on the verge of falling completely off the face of the earth. What do they even sell the fan base on next season.
So another 6 years of irrelevance. Thank you Mike Norvell. If I was mike norvell I would be so embarrassed. Have pride in your work man !!! What the hell ! ! !
Bud, the gut punch of reality hit with the BC game. I haven't taken that hit each week after, that'd be nuts. BAD STUFF happening next month, I guess we'll know what we're working with by spring. How good is Charleston Southern anyway? Asking for a friend.
Big picture question is Norvell the guy to turn it around? he’s kinda imo in the same spot as Lincoln Riley at USC why are you in a state with this much high school talent and your 1-8 in the ACC at FSU that’s a major issue
Why would you fire in the middle of the season and try to function with a bare staff? That's dumb af. Who you gonna hire in the middle of the season? You clean house after UF or maybe before.
@donnieyoung2904 your a dumb@ss. Is the team gonna get worse if they fire the staff? No....We're gonna lose the rest of the games with the current staff. So what do you gain by keeping them?
@@aloofheartedyes they should of fired ppl and given ppl within w little to no experience a chance, they’re likely hungry and will push players to prove they deserve it. During that time you filter the ones that have potential and the ones that don’t and come off season you already have ppl within for cheap and have a better grasp of where to focus. Doing a fire sale at the end doesn’t find the real problem and is just throwing darts hoping it’ll work.
@@raydripper101 So you think it would have been best to fire the OL or WR Coach or all of them before the Miami game and let the Graduate Assistants take over game planning for that position because they might be good at it? You're crazy. The team would be coached by guys that are about 2 years older than they are and whose next logical step is being a coordinator at a high school. We aren't looking to hire potential. We are looking to hire experience and proven recruiters. The reason good assistants go to a program is because of HC stability. Nobody that is proven wants to go to a HC on the hot seat cause they will be looking for a new job again shortly/ This is what happen last time. I don't think we have to fire people mid-season to "find the real problem". All you have to do is watch the film.

Ingram def set the table for making rare appearances but to just sit out the whole season after being a voice for many years is disappointing. At least you aren’t hiding
I don’t want to hear the Oline is hurt argument. The starters were trash. And your starting tackles are your starting tackles. We had like 5 people who could play guard. Where are they now??
As a Michigan fan, I just want to say, "Thank you" to Mike Norvell and FSU. Every time I feel bad about how our season is going and when even thinking about the recent National Championship is not enough, I can always find other programs struggling around the country and think, "It could be worse". I'd love for Michigan, FSU and Oklahoma have their own Round Robin post season for disappointing Blue Bloods. Also, if you guys are going to win another game this season, please let it be against ND. ND fans are nearly as bad as Ohio State fans and I would absolutely love to see FSU pull the upset. Heck, if NIU can do it, right?
If they don’t have the talent on the team this year, they won’t have it ( or enough of it ) next year. Signing day is around the corner and Norvell has a chance to sign, if he’s lucky, 10 players. They need 22. Next year can possibly be the same or worse unless he goes crazy in the portal. That means we will have to overpay players to come here, because results are not the attractive aspect of this program. Coaching is not an attractive aspect of this program either, for players or coaches. My question is, do the decision makers think Norvell can turn this around in one year and if they don’t think he can, will they be able to afford to keep him? If the answer is no, cut bait now. I don’t think one year is not going to make that much of a difference in a buy out. You can save some money by stopping the new construction of the stadium. Doak only holds around 50,000 during the construction and didn’t need all of those seats Saturday. That alone is depressing, but if the losses continue attendance can and will get worse.
Getting beat by almost every team with less talent, no excuse this is 100% coaching issues and has been there just a few great players and JT hid it for 2 seasons in which we won a lot but was no where near dominant. This is dominant losses lmao
No he needs to go, let Odell coach the team the rest of the year. Need to bring in a new coach and let him hire his own staff, you hire new assistants and then have to fire them. Need to start from scratch and remove every aspect of this regime .
Unc should have lost this game. It's Mack's last season, the starting qb went out first game, just bad. I don't think you can really evaluate just how bad this loss was. I can't imagine the horror that Florida is going to uncork. I don't know what the biggest win percentage was but get ready for another first.
Probably spending every waking hour convincing NIL donors to not pull money after the coaching staff pissed it all away this offseason. Can’t imagine it’s a fun time for him right now.
They didn't. They haven't shown up all year. 2-10. They might even lose to Charleston Southern. They really might. They are horrible AND they give no effort.
What happened to Ingram? Are we just not going to address it at all? The comment about entertaining other co-hosts is really puzzling considering the opening line of the pod for YEARS was “Ingram Smith and Bud Elliott back again for another episode of the Nolecast…” Talk to me… what’s doing on with Ingram?
After my loved ones and my dog, fsu football is my favorite thing on earth. The fact that it is dying and may be dead after this season is super depressing
The largest scoring victory in the University of Florida's football rivalry with Florida State was Florida's 49-0 win on December 1, 1973. Here are some other notable games in the rivalry: January 2, 1997: Florida beat Florida State 52-20 November 24, 2018: Florida beat Florida State 41-14 Florida leads the all-time series against Florida State 37-28-2. The Gators' longest win streak was nine games from 1968-1976.

This is by far the most disappointing season EVER.
I'm guessing we keep HC, DC, DB, RB & DL coaches. Those seem to be the better coaches that develop or recruit best. The rest can kick rocks
Poor running defense is based on fullers 524, bend dont break defense, possibly less scoring but you concede 5 yards a play especially to rb.
Jasón staples works for inside Carolina and was an FSU WR, he does a podcast called I conquered, if you’re looking for a cohost I would check him out

FSU needs a whole make over. we got punked by the BOT to hire Alford who is a fundraiser and not an AD. We need a real AD who can then hire a real HC.
