I went from the 14 Pro Max to the 16 Pro and am pleasantly surprised at how good it is to not carry the super slab. I had no issue getting used to the smaller screen but it's taken a bit of adjustment when texting. Battery is excellent for me and it's a decent phone overall.
A battery saving tip: check the settings for the 5G, I had really bad battery life but having changed the setting to only us 5G when it’s available rather than have the iPhone constantly hunt for 5G makes a difference 🏴
I feel u. I went pro this time as well. I’m so happy with my decision. I’ll never go max again. Battery life isn’t an issue. Because I just pop on my MagSafe battery charger when necessary
I have consistently opted for the pro max each year, but this time I chose the 16 pro. I selected the pro max due to the numerous differences between the two, but this year the only distinctions are the size and battery, and the 16 pro essentially has the same battery as the 15 pm.
I had the 6.1 inch after being a Max user and it was what I call a good size. It got the job done. With that said, I missed the battery life and screen size of the Max. I got rid of my iPad and my phone kind of play that role! The 6.9 is a two in one device for me! Phone and tablet!
I would still use the 16pro cuz my hands are small af. Currently using a 6.78 inch android and its very big for me cuz am coming from a 6.22 inch display 😅😅
Literally if someone wants the regular pro it's because the small size is worth it... And maybe having a better battery life doesn't worth having a way too big screen.
From each series i bought P and PM at launch date. I had the PM model now since the iPhone 13 mainly due to battery life and camera. Screen size was never so much of an argument. The P never was at my expected level. With the 15 PM the 5x tele lens was the main criteria to go for the PM. Me as a hobby photographer I can complemente 24 - 120 on iPhone and the Z6iii with 300 - 600mm. This year, I downsized. The PM was always sort of too large and heavy. This year the 16P has the same hardware a little bigger screen size than regular and most important, it gets me to the same level of battery life as the 15PM i had before. Yes, one can say that the roughly 10 hrs I get it no sufficient, but the way I am using it is perfect. Worst case I still got my Apple MagSafe Battery. I always charge up to 95% and start charging again at 30%. This way my phones after 12 month are still at 100% capacity. Of course, thats my profile. For everyone it might be different. This year the Pro did the trick. And for the first time, I had to go up from 256GB to 512GB since I ran out of storage.
Man, the 16 pro max is far above the normal, the 6.5 should have been the plateau. They could have reduced bezels and gate it a 6.8 inch screen without changing the form factor of the 15 pro max. And for battery, they could have used the silicon carbon tech. They already made the 6.7 inch brick size mainstream few years back, now this. This cannot go on.
Seriously considering going from 14 pro max to the next 17 pro! Battery life was the only reason I went with the bigger one but even after two years of using my 14 pro max, I don’t go down below 50% battery level in a day at all.
Can you make a video about Pro Motion and the benefits of having 120hz, like the fluidity in videos and scrolling? I think you can knock that out the park. I still have the 15 plus, and getting the 17 Pro Max when it releases, thanks!
as a painter, I usually go for the bigger phone even tho I like the smaller one. because I use pictures as references sometimes the bigger display is better
I have both 16 Pro and 16 PM , PM personal and regular Pro work and betas software testing unit, if I was going to keep only one it s going to be 16 Pro , its compactness for a Pro IPhone is top Notch, I believe our eyes can used to any screen estate and the battery is the best regular pro I ever seen yet , its close to the previous 15 PM battery even wit wasn’t great but for a regular pro it’s outstanding
I always try a pro sized phone every few years (S24, regular iPhone pro, pixel 9 pro size) and I dig the size and the convenience it provides...until I start typing. The experience always ends up cramped and claustrophobic plus I find carrying a charger all the time, yet I'm fine with foldables. It's weird. (I'm 6'4 and have big hands.) But yeah...wish I could use a pro phone sometimes lol.
I actually don’t use these larger phones one handed at all, especially since I don’t run a case a lot of the time. I don’t really mind though, because it’s very rare that I’ll need to use it one handed.
I had the 15 Pro Max and I thought it was the best size Pro Max with it still big 6.7 inch display but with it slightly smaller dimensions compared to the 14 Pro Max then the 16 pro and promax came out and their screen size is increased by .2 inches and it got me thinking that my 15 Pro Max was just too big and I didn't like how big it was lol and I started using my phone one handed more often and I realize that it was just uncomfortable so I decided to upgrade to the 16 pro and or downsize and I am pretty happy
Great video, Thank you, and I truly respect why you like big phone's, but with all due respect, I absolutely hate phone's that are too big, I don't want to get into the reasons why, it would take to long to explain, but I love compact phone's for one handed use, conftability and portability. So the regular pro line's are the best that I like.
small phones are weird...got an 13 mini,,,,nothing to do....I am gonna sell....15 pro....16.. ..16 pro the best size....Appe please do not make small phone again.
i wonder how much longer the industry is going to ignore the demand for smaller phones. I'm still on my 12 mini because apple keeps producing portable TVs. It all started with the asian markets demanding bigger phones and somehow apple thought everyone does. I'd even prefer an even smaller phone with the size of the iphone 5 series
I have a 15pm. I like it, but sometimes its very annoying yo use with 1 hand, or when im just laying down in bed. I CAN swap to a 16 pro. Would that be considered a “downgrade”?
Love the max size since the xs max. Noah been thinking of buying my first MacBook and going all out and getting the pro m4. I have a iPad Pro m1 and I really don’t need one as of yet but always wanted one and it might push me to take up something like coding. Any advice
I also downsized from the galaxy ultra to the S22+.. the big phones are just TOO big anymore and too hold to hard one handed, etc. My wife also just downsized to the s24 from the ultra.
Yes, I bought the iPhone 15 Pro max for the supposedly better cameras only to discover I would have been better sticking to my iPhone 13 Pro Plus… I replaced the 15 Pro Max with the 16 Pro as the cameras were now the same whether you went for the Max or standard Pro models. Still crap camera’s… I’ve never been so disappointed with an Apple product 🏴
I don’t get why people keep saying this is the first time Apple has had the same features on the Max and regular pro. The 11, 13 and 14 both had same features. I guess anything for clickbait.
Small hands like the iPhone pro 16 it’s that simple if you have an above average size hand the pro max feels fine… both are titanium build the the weight difference is minimal no more than having another couple keys or a key chain….’idk I was indecisive but pro max being on sale made it easy to switch and not squint

Just downsized to the 16 pro after years of Maxing it. So much more comfortable and now that there’s zero compromise super happy I did.

Right

I still get around 7 hours of heavy use on my 15 pro max with 93% health, I'll replace the battery when I have to because I love it still.

The pro max is worth it for the screen size and battery!!
The plus is literally 90% of the phone of Pro Max for quite a discount

It's too heavy, I'm burned out on having a brick in my pocket. Went from the 15 Pro Max to the 16 Plus, it was worth it to me
@spede1 isn't the 16 plus bigger than the 16 pro ? Why not go with that. Is still small with a 6.3 inch screen

I tried to downsize and hated my life for that month, immediately went back to the max :D
I could never go smaller. I love my 16 pm. I hope the 17 series is bigger and the weight of the 14 pm
I feel the same
@ someone gets it ☺️🙂
Size queen

Swipe down anywhere in the screen for notification panel is a great feature of androids.

I get 9-10 SOT on my 16 pro. If you’re a hardcore gamer or streamer, etc then get the max. If the big phone if hard to hold , get 16 pro.

11 PM to 16 Pro. I’m so glad I didn’t go Max.
Why?

i'm glad the smaller Pro is equally specced for the most part! you're totally valid for not wanting a mini tablet in your pocket haha
I'm still on the 14 Pro Max, im waiting for the 17 Pro
Nobody uses a phone with one hand nowadays
16 plus is worth it too . 6.7 screen same as pro . I don’t use raw photos anyway
do you notice that you wish you had the larger screen or overall is the 6.3 inch fine ?
I ain’t never going back to small phones. Give me all that screen my babies

I just bought the iphone 16 pro and the battery sucks,, why does it drain so fast

Still using my iPhone 13 mini
@@Goxilla you do know they still make small phones right? You can go android. Get a se, a basic iPhone.

My iPhone 16 pro max battery is draining. Activated the phone just 5days ago😢
How's the black titanium holding up case less?

is your pro max white? :)
yes :)

nope they've deprived the smaller Pro features TWICE in the past 5 years. important to make note of this.
I came here to post no one cares that you down sized
Bad idea, Noah…🫨😉🤗…Pro Max for life! ☕️
watch the video i'm still on the Max lol
