That Armored Core & Warhammer short movie were too raw and deserves a full length film
those 2 were my favorites, the best by far. 3rd is probably dungeon and dragons.
warhammer is receiving a full Amazon series produced by Henry Cavill

I loved this episode so much. Keanu was a great choice for this character. He felt so real, so dark and traumatized.
Also the visuals/action scenes were so epic. Excellent episode 🔥

I like the Dark ending of this episode because is congruent with the Armored Core games.
In those games you are a Mercenary that pilot these mechs and you do a lot of fuck up stuff
Like literally war crimes and killing innocent people for money
Most of the time is not explicit but yeah the Armored Core universe is dark and depressing.
In the most recent game for example the first missions are basically help the corpo invaders that want to take over a planet
And you kill the guys that are just defending themselves.
And to make matters worse you’re a half lobotomized hound who either fell in debt and needed to pay it off or it was forced on you
Considering the pilot bios you find within the various title's Arenas, Keanu's character falls well within my expectations.

my take on this ep, keanu put him out of his misery he grabbed finger and put it to his head. In armor core lore these pilots are experimented on with a drug that heightens senses but drives them insane, or removes their emotions. Corporations rule this world and have been responsible for countless wars. The guy he killed seemed like he was being used as a main computer to help control other suits, by some company, he was hooked up with wires and left crippled it seems. He is the last because people like him are called ravens and are a mercenaries for higher that kill each other for the corporations petty wars
Yes but few of the pilots can actually communicate with the drug used, it is living but without a physical body.
Girl in the yellow was the most excited one out of everybody 😅

I'd love to see Returnal, Bioshock, Metro, Far Cry, Days Gone, Assassin's Creed, Dying Light, DOOM, Deathloop, Prey, Infamous, and Outlast, just to name a few. I'd also love to see a Secret Level style show that features Nintendo characters. Zelda and Metroid would go so hard.
@ryancole4893 Solid choices all! I'd add mass effect, fallout and cyberpunk to this list off the top of my head too.. really the potential is huge, it's a bit disappointing they had so few big names for this season 😕

Well I mean I doubt Jeff has anything to do with it. In essence Amazon just provided money and a place to show the series. They had a hand finically but they don't make the creative decisions to make the show great. Besides, just about every AAA game or movie is funded by some greedy company run by some greedy exec. Like John Riccitiello, dude that wanted to charge players per bullet in a shooting game or good ol' Bobby Kotick.

The ending brings up a subtle question highlighted by the how the other piolet was killed - Is the man controlling the machine or is the machine controlling the man?
Well for a fact, these are hired mercs paid by corpos for protection rackets or other illicit activities
@@imperiumgrim4717 If you watch the video again you'll notice that the Visualizer (ring that moves with the pilots head) moves first then his head moves. @ the 6:15 mark. So, is he looking where the machine wants him to look; or, is the machine looking where the piolet looks? It's seems like the former to me.
It's just some sort of synchronization. In armored core ACs doesn't have any sentience, voice in his head - coral schizowaifu, she's not the part of mech @@josephgrant2580
@@josephgrant2580 it's a synchronization ring, the pilot fully controls the mech, an AC isn't like some neon genesis half angel half mech thing, it's just a machine without a pilot to control it, due to the strain of the human body pulling 6+G's in any given direction the pilots need to be augmented, 4th gen was the last generation of pilot to use coral in augmentation ( hence keanu having what we call a brain wife it's a side effect of coral based augmentation.) keanu's character snuffed out the incapacitated pilot because of his ego of wanting to be the best and last of his gen of pilots.

I can tell the women have no interest they must be thinking thanks God is not a long movie 😅
I mean, we watched all 8 together, some resonated with them more than others, that's pretty normal I think.
Seriously. The women are not enjoying themselves at all. This channel keeps showing up on my feed but their reactions are all very boring and not excited at all. They’re all not even fans of any of the video games or anything. They all are just trying to farm content.
If we take out the women's put only boys the channel will be interesting 😉
@@karankenZ Mr Garrus, open the channel, type is Mass Effect, and look at the amount of work I have personally put in fan trailers..and tell me I'm no a fan of video games. The girls are not familiar with most of the games, but let's be frank, most of the show's video games are just awful choices, seriously, other than Armored Core, Warhammer Megaman and D&D, we had no big names. This show does a poor job of actually telling stories, how do I know? it's my damn job, I make films for a living and I can be objective. It's amazing fan service,fantastic animation, but not really good short film storytelling, Love death and robots did a better job of it. So.. yeah, when they have no context, they are bored. Had we known beforehand that it would be like this, we wouldn't be bothered watching it with them. I found myself bored by some episodes, the 2nd half of this show is just plain awful.
@@MNGman28 We usually do game stuff with just guys, this was an acception coz we didn't know it'd be this confusing to them. We generally feel like games can be for everyone, and figured this would be a nice introduction to some of the worlds..but truth is, it's not, the episodes were nothing more than fan service.
