@@samuel10125 Welcome! We've reviewed a few military ads in the past! Just search our channel for "adverts" and watch the Patriotic adverts video :D
If you eat to much chocolate you won't be able to lay a cable.
The sausage roll flavour crips have a LOT of tomato sauce flavour, producing a lot of vinegar tartness to the table.
Another one to think about are the corn based "Chipsticks", salt and vinegar (very strong flavour). There are also an occasional run of "Fish and Chips" which are a sort of baked bisuit (if you have had cheddar biscuits, it is like that), they were a big hit but they only come out on rare occasions. The potato used today is very different from the one they used to use, up until the 90s, IIRC, because that potato died off. The flavour of crisps hasn't really recovered.
Ure taste buds are bad Thai sweet chilli sensations are the best they have so much flavour
As an Englishman, when you disliked Frazzles and skips it genuinely hurt me inside
THOSE ARE MY FAVE
Frazzles are horrid
Don't worry Tom, as Americans, their taste is not the same, they eat spray cheese ffs.
I KNOW SAME

You’ve never had a sausage roll? Go and get a Greggs sausage roll, immediately.
before they changed to greggs, bakers oven ones were much better especially the ones with relish inside.
@@deejayy2k is it really a sausage roll if there's relish in it though
@@ImMamba they had sausage in as well.
Don't listen to these heathens, the meat in both of these can barely be classed as sausage. You need to find a good butcher for a good Sausage roll. Alternatively M&S do a good butchers sausage roll from the deli counter. the best sausage roll I ever had was from a chain in London called FARM, if you can find one of those they're amazing. But just about all the chain bakery stores ones are awful, as are the supermarket ones.
Greggs is just amazing
That is 100% the correct way to eat Hula Hoops. Very children's party nostalgic
Grace with the hula hoops on her fingers gave me such nostalgia. As a kid you'd try and fit as many on your fingers as possible before eating them off one by one. Also in primary school one of the boys in my class used one to propose to a girl in class.
Aww! Thanks for sharing your nostalgia with us! :D
Tyrell’s are definitely what would be considered “posh crisps” 😅
Well posh init. Incidentally, I read somewhere that the founder of tyrrells was a potato farmer who now makes vodka...
Tye-tells? Oop North it’s ’Tirrells’

amazingly bad, you mean? such a horrible flavour.
Anything prawn cocktail is amazing. Y'all non Brits have it wrong
Love skips
Smith's Crisps used to be the staple British crisp, unsalted with a separate tiny pack of salt inside so one may salt to taste.
I used to eat a lot of them as a kid when I couldn’t eat salt. They were the only crisp I could eat...
The little blue bag!
My Dad still buys them. You put the salt in from the little blue bag, shake well and the end result is crisps without much salt on them (apart from one that has way too much) and the inside of a crisp bag that is literally coated with salt.
Yes, and they always tasted best from a greaseproof paper bag...with the salt in a twist of blue paper rather than a sachet...
@@cogidubnus1953 that’s going back a long way!

Oh my god, you said you have never tried a sausage roll!!? I fear you will be in a state of euphoria when these hit your taste buds.
You do need to go Greg's though if your having a sausage roll.
Not Greggs, any independent Baker should be better, but Greggs will be a consistent nationwide
@@foghornleghornish Agreed, Greggs is just your basic Sausage Roll.
Greggs is the baseline. There is a lot better and there is a lot worse. Greggs is the benchmark of acceptability
Don't go to the pound bakery for anything
Sausage rolls are highly variable and can be eaten hot or cold. You could do a whole video on them much like this one. Finding a gluten free one could be tricky though.
I cannot emphasise this enough - as you are in Yorkshire, you should try Seabrook's Crisps!
Absolutely. Should have ditched Tyrells and Sensations for Seabrook's, Monster Munch and Scampi Fries.
Plus all seabrooks crisps are gluten free!
My step dad worked briefly at Seabrooks. They had to wear what was essentially a germ warfare suit because the bags of flavouring were so caustic. Also, did you know that the founder of the company had a chippy in Allerton in Bradford, or nearby, and he decided to concentrate on fried spuds during the war when fish was scarce. It went well so he ordered a new sign for his new fried potato sideline. His name was Charles, probably, so when the sign writer took the job he was asked to write a sign for C.Brooks. It being a fish and chip shop previously the sign writer put two and two together and came up with five. Hence Seabrooks fried potato company.
Or actual "Yorkshire Crisps" Hendersons flavour!
@@jonathanfinan722 I've always found them too salty(probably because they use sea salt) but they have some interesting flavours.
Whenever I see the thumbnail to a new upload I'm about to watch I'm reminded just how adorable you two are and it brightens my day. Thanks guys.
Aww! Thank you so much! We’re so happy to hear that our videos make you happy 😊
If you can find them Walkers Smokey Bacon flavour are great.
Your reactions to skips, it’s hilarious! I adore them
Not them disrespecting sensations nooooo those r the best 😢😂
I loved the way Grace kept the Hula Hoops on her fingers throughout. Also, you may have to stop using the word ‘tiers” - in relation to your Patreon’s - as it’s confusing 😂
I'm trying to start an edible fashion trend 😂
@@WanderingRavens you found the right way of eating hula hoops, thats exactly how i eat.
Oh my god you have GOT TO try Greggs - sausgae roll, steak bake, vegan sausage roll etc!!!!!
this was basically Grace watching you eat loads of crisps
I hadn't got to the end of the video when writing this but you definitely need to try discos... top notch!
Yes try the Salt n vinegar. My hubby loves this flavour and thinks Discos version is the best tasting
Over the years walkers has had some wacky flavours of crisps like cheesey beans and toast or chicken curry. Walkers even made they version of the pringles. Walkers are not scared to try new things.
Walkers did a Katsu Curry special edition earlier in the year, they were gorgeous.
The way you ate the Hula Hoops and wore them on your fingers is exactly how kids have been eating them for decades 😂
Seabrook crisps miss another chance of fame :( lol
Seabrooks beefy crisps if you guys are still in Leeds, they can be hard to find out side of Yorkshire and the north in general. Seabrooks make really good crisps.
most B&M shops sell seabrooks and here in the midlands Lidl sell them in the centre aisle. I love seabrooks
Since you love salt and vinegar crisps, I recommend getting Disco's - they are very sharp! You would probably like the Mcoys version too. Since you like salt and vinegar, you should try pickled onion monster munch and Worcester sauce walkers.
I remember when Walkers had a flavour called “Cajun Squirrel” 😆
Oh my!! xD
Heinz ketchup and Marmite
They had racoon too I think
flavors*
I think it was at the same time that they also had Heinz Ketchup and Builder’s Breakfast flavours...oh also Onion Bhaji, Chilli and Chocolate, Crispy Duck and Fish and Chips!
You just missed out on Brannigan's Roast Beef & Mustard by a month or so. Gorgeous. But they closed their doors after so many years recently. Were a staple in pubs.
Ah man, bad news them crisps are tidy
I didn't know I missed them 'til I read this, now I'm bereft.
Did anyone else get annoyed every time they called them big hoops? 😂
No
Isn’t that what they’re called? 🙊
@@WanderingRavens They are called Hula Hoops - but I think it said big hoops on the bag - maybe a larger size than standard or larger hoops
To be fair to them, that is literally what it says on the pack.
Alas yes, easy mistake to be fair as the bag does say Big Hoops but it just sounds wrong, 'tis Hula Hoops (just these are bigger versions so we can get them onto our adult sized fingers!)
You have good taste. Such a shame that Grace couldn't try more of them!
PS: I think Tyrrell rhymes with "squirrel" (not "tie-rel")
I think your correct but not with an american accent. Americans say squirrel as sqrrrrrl. 😂😂😁
@@Chris22967 I was thinking the same, but couldn't think of an easier way of putting it! "TIR-el", I suppose :)

Squirrel crisps? I’d buy them 😂
The best crisps are Picked Onion flavored Monster Munch. You need to try these.

thats my least favourite flavour i like beef 🤭
You like Tyrrell's (short i) Salt and Vinegar, have you tried Walkers or Pringles S&V?
I’ve never heard of Tyrrells before and I live in the UK 😂
I’d love to see a fizzy pop episode! I think you’d love some vimto haha
That sure is the way to eat Hula Hoops! My favourite is just ready salted ☺️
So good!
Grace sussed it out fast and kept them on.
@@dave_h_8742 yeah and hats off to her! The greasiness would have been driving me mad! Especially right between her fingers! I’ve never had the Big Hoops so am used to just having them on the ends of my fingers 😄
Seabrooks are great too and Salt & Shake where you can add as much salt as you like to taste
Seabrooks crisps are the best - they come from Bradford, so should be easily obtained in Leeds! All Seabrooks crisps are gluten free and vegetarian. My preference is for Pickled Onion flavour, although it is a “retired flavour” according to their web site www.seabrookcrisps.com/ . I also recommend Lea & Perrins flavour!

Seems so
Never tried sausage roll crisps. It’s a new thing
Having watched your video a few months ago, I went and bought sausage roll crisps; now our family and friends absolutely love them! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Also, Tyrell’s rhymes with squirrels! (I know people struggling saying that word, though, so don’t worry too much!)
I love that Grace kept the Hula Hoops on her fingers for the whole video!! 😂
Also, you need to do a Sausage Roll tasting video!!!!!
I love Frazzles, Skips, Quavers, Wotsits, Cheese and Onion and Hula hoops.
And Flame Grilled Steak are the best flavour McCoy’s crisps!

"I would eat these probably more often than is good for me", yeah, you already are!

Need to try golden wonder spring onion
Walkers do limited edition flavours from time to time. About 10-12 years ago they released some called 'Builder's Breakfast'. Try to imagine components of a fry up on a crisp! Bizarre but I liked them a lot and bought a bag to have with lunch pretty regularly.
Years ago, my brother's Italian girlfriend would have a fictitious crisp flavour fitted in to the order when it was her turn to get a round in. The look on the barman's face when she asked for Hamster & Marmalade crisps was priceless. I seem to remember her asking for Dandelion & Burdock flavoured hula hoops a few weeks later.
Do you have French Fries or Pom-Bears in the States?
Pom Bears cheese one!
"the real mccoy" is a derivative Scots phrase meaning - the genuine article, real deal or the best in class.
I. E
That young boxer over there is the real mccoy... (he has talent, is the real deal etc)
This needs a part 2, no Seabrooks, Golden Wonder, Smiths, Squares, Pringles, Frisps, Chipsticks, Scampi Fries, Monster Munch, Space Raiders, Nik Naks, Discos, Doritos.
Sensations don't really count as they're generally communal grab bags. Tyrell's are just posh peoples crisps.
Skips you need to know what to expect to enjoy them. Same as all American's tasting Jaffa Cakes get some shock horror look that they taste of orange, even though they are named after Jaffa oranges. It's a bit like thinking you're eating a chicken nugget, then realise it's a breaded mushroom, you're not gonna like it.
Great video! My favourite British Crisps are Monster Munch Flamin' Hot. I think the sausage roll ones taste of Stuffing that is used for Sunday lunch and Grace's confirmation of the sage flavouring supported this!
We're so glad you enjoyed this one! Thanks!
You should try Tyrrells root vegetable crisps
Those are the best I like the way the vegetables make them look nicer with all the different colours.
@@jenniedarling3710 I haven't had them for ages, but after watching this and remembering them I immediately added them to my next food order

2:07 love how grace accidentally finds the way we all ate them as kids. Cover your fingers in hula hoops then eat them
I like salt and vinegar crisps that are so strong that they almost hurt! Tyrells are a brilliant choice. Burts are really strong, they might be my favourite. I feel like Kettle Chips have got weaker over the years.
Other crisps I’d recommend:
Brannigans - Roast Beef & Mustard
Sensations - Lime & Coriander Poppadoms
Walkers - Worcester Sauce
Nik Naks - Lemon & Scampi
Smiths - Lemon & Scampi
I'm so glad you love salt and vinegar flavour crisps. Almost all my favourite crisps are S&V flavoured (Walkers, Squares, Golden Wonder's, Tayto's, Chipsticks, Hoola Hoops, etc.). I always feel as though everyone prefers ready salted and cheese and onion, but S&V is far superior! You should try Monster Munch pickled onion, which has a lovely acidic/sour taste.
As a vegetarian I don't think either Skips or Walkers prawn cocktail crisps taste anything like seafood/fish, as far as I can recall. Prawn cocktail is another flavour I love.
I'm ringing the police to report a crisp theft at 12:51.
You missed out Salt and shake !
So sweet that Grace immediately discovered what all children do with hula hoops!
I'm trying to start an edible fashion trend 😂
McCoys were originally marketed with very "American" adverts - one slogan was "The big chip from the big country"...
I always thought those adverts were more Canada then America, always having lumberjacks in them, and Canada is a big, big, empty country on the whole. I never associated it with the US, even though it could have been that, like the big country in the Wild West in Westerns.
I actually prefer the Baked version of Walkers to the original ones
Good to know! We'll try some!
@@WanderingRavens oh yeah, I love the baked salted flavour walkers :)
Yeah, I definitely prefer the baked ones, they're also more healthy
I always thought "The Real McCoy was of Scottish origin, from a line in a poem talking about whisky - "a drop of the real MacKay"
Could be totally wrong, though.
I read somewhere that it was a rum running thing during prohibition where there was a rum runner called McCoy who was known for never selling counterfeit liquors
That Scottish explanation seems to be the most likely origin of the phrase, possibly borrowed and corrupted in the USA.
A quick search has Scotland beating the rum runners as the real McKay.
I’ve never known this; the Scottish Mackay origin does seem to be favourite although like a lot of these things nobody really knows.
I can't believe i just witnessed them doing "cheers" over wotsits lol

Back in 1981 a company names Hedgehog Foods, launched hedgehog flavoured crisps as a joke. They were quite popular for a while, but controversial because some people thought they involved real hedgehogs. I did try them and they were not dissimilar to beef flavour. Hedgehogs are a traditional food for Gypsies. They would cover them in clay and put them on the camp fire to cook. The clay would harden and make it easy to to strip off the spines by cracking it and shelling it like an egg.
Last year at Christmas, Walkers released for a limited time 'Brussel Sprout' flavoured chrisps ! They were great.
I'd have recommended Bacon Fries, Scampi Fries and Wheat Crunchies.
Roysters are the best crisps. Change my mind.
I'm not gonna change your mind. You are absolutely right. I'd polish off a multi-pack bag by the time this video was over!
