I love him commentating skateboarding. He should never stop his engagement with SLS. Also, I hope SLS is back asap, last year's contests were all insane regarding the level of skateboarding.
Max Howard I’m really glad you said that. It’s not easy to keep a family together like that I can only imagine trying to do it and still be as relevant as Cole is. Mad respect to Cole he’s one of my favorite skaters.
blownonpurp I know right lol man there’s only two skaters to ever win soty twice him and Danny Way. I think that says enough lol considering D Way is without a doubt the gnarliest person to ever step on a board.
When I first got into skating I wasn't really into zero or fallen because it wasn't my aesthetic. I was a girl/chocolate type. And then I've heard of chris cole and boom instantly became my one of my favorite skaters. Didn't matter how he dressed or what music he was into. The skating spoke for itself. And that's why I love skating so much because there's no boundaries or specific image
I met him and told him how big of an influence he is to me and other dudes since his early days for skating, he was pretty thankful about hearing it! It goes full circle haha
I remember when Chris came to my house I was living with Jake Stewart we went to some Ledges I never even heard of this guy it was when Chris wasn't known at all and we get to the spot and this dude just went crazy I'd never seen anybody skates so good in all my life and I didn't even know who this dude was from that day forward I was like holy s*** this guy's one of the best.
Thank you Nine Club for adding my son Jasper & my book "Wheels on the skateboard" to your bookshelf! As we jokingly have said to others who saw it we can now retire. Seriously though our gratitude for all of you guys is at 1000%!!! Much love from upstate NY!
It was awesome hearing him detail his board and setup and it being so consistent with his powerful, weighty style. Like there's a real coherence with his setup, the way he talks about skating and the way he rides... #GOAT.
wow these nine club sessions are such great advocates to so many skateboarding related things coming from pros we all look up to . so satisfying and relatable
Honestly one of the best Stop N Chats. Cole is tied with The Chief and Lopez as the skaters that are most influential to me. I've heard he's one of the most awesome guys in what is already an incredibly welcoming, lifestyle, we call skateboarding. I definitely get that vibe. Glad he's back home with ZERO and Fallen 🤘
I feel the same way about time going fast! Time doesn’t go fast as a kid because we don’t plan or consider time as important.. now we schedule everything subconsciously even.. rent the 1st, internet bill the 5th, phone bill the 11th, energy bill the 12th, etc etc etc.. we’re always waiting for another date to take care of some responsibility as an adult. I 1000% agree with you Chris Cole!
411 VM10 Was My First 411, I've been watching it a lot lately. It gets me really pumped on skating. It as revitalized my skateboarding. I love it. Keep up the awesome content guys.
Sk8 tv was my first introduction to skateboarding. I was about 4 yrs old when it aired (and maybe it ran in syndication for a couple years) but it had a lasting impact. I had the pleasure of speaking with Skatemaster Tate, on several occasions via instagram, before he passed. He was a super nice dude and we talked about old vinyl records. He would have been 56, 5 days ago. To reiterate what you guys were saying, "time flies" because it's wild to think that Gerry passed away, almost 5 years ago. I hope someone is taking care of his record collection... Awesome Stop and Chat, always liked Chris Cole and was stoked when Jamie Thomas posted the announcement via his Insta that Cole was back with Zero. This, just after Chad Muska released his 1st line of Muska decks and Shorties announced that they were reissuing the Muska Silhouette decks in every classic colorway. It's a good time for skating, despite the whole covid thing. Personally, I landed a fakie bigger flip, today, pretty clean full rotation, just a little foot adjustment. I'm 34 and still progressing. Skating is awesome and I've met a ton of people because it.
This conversation is absolutely incredible. Once you guys start talking about Cobras set up I start geeking out. Truly a fascinating subject of psychology.
My favorite part of every episode, absolutely no sarcasm whatsoever, truly, is when Chris tells the guest about how he added rails to his board and how they were just sooo close together, and subsequently every guest just immediately compliments him on his progress in board set up ahahahah
i'm 36 mins in and this episode is amazing. Chris has got to be my favorite skater of all time. I'll never forget the hype for Ride the Sky and watching it for the first time when the DVD came in the mail. Billy and Tommy Guns parts were crazy but Chris was on another level
after this i went into my cupboard and found a zero t shirt that Chris signed for me, so stocked i still have it. so happy hes back on zero. zero boards are the only boards that work for me and seeing Chris back on the team has got me super hyped
I remember meeting cole at sls in la and he was just the nicest guy ever and such a welcoming guy he didn’t have to fake anything he was just himself and being a amazing funny human being
We need a show with Jamie Thomas and Chris Cole. Both are hilarious, and are so well spoken and have so much knowledge. I can only imagine both of them together.
Black Toy Machine double knuckles was my first ever board. They didn’t have it on the rack so I got it ordered. I got BA’s whole kit he had in his SOTY cover right down to the Axions
Distinctly remember that 411 and being so confused whether he was tech or hesh. hip hop or metal. can't believe cobra Cole almost skated to a Pinkerton track. c'mon, rivers... that would've been so epic
The part about just taking ANYTHING with a skateboard in it as a kid, totally true when he said you didn't care even if it was a cartoon with an Xtremely Goofy Movie. Only reason I watched it repeatedly
I skate the same hard black bushing and super tight trucks. Feel like I get way more pop with tight trucks especially nollie. Everything Chris says about right trucks is totally true.
When I was in 9th grade (2007) the Fallen team came to Baybrook mall in clear lake Texas and I used to wear nothing but Fallen. Jamie was so stoked on seeing me in Fallen head to toe that he gave me a banner that was at least 6 ft by 6 ft of the Chris Cole dragon shirt graphic that had just released back then. I had them sign a hat that I still have and I had just Jamie and Chris sign a black Fallen belt that had spades and skulls pressed into it that was two sizes too big because I couldnt find anymore and unfortunately I got kicked out of my house a couple years later and my dad burned my banner and took my belt because he knew it meant something to me. The thing I really wish I still had was a Fallen guitar pick that Chris Cole pulled out of his own pocket and gave to me that day. I managed to poke a hole in it and attach it to one of those braided necklaces and wore it for a couple years. I didnt make it big enough to take off and after years of skating in the Texas heat and it getting soaked in sweat it ended up breaking off while I was skating one day and I didnt realize it was gone till I got home :/ if it wasnt for Chris Cole and Fallen and having them as roll models back then to motivate me to skate I probably wouldnt be here today. Thank you for helping me through some of the toughest years of my life!
Started skating the nose wen we learned switch, it was difficultly different & seeing Chris do in dying to live ,we tried it & I worked brilliantly! So Dope
I like the conversations in this episode about how personal style (clothes shoes, etc. progressed over time) but it can be hard to tell that through a video part because the outside world doesn't see the footage until later the way the people on the session who are always around do. I've always found this interesting how on the outside looking in someone can think something completely different from the skater himself or even just a normal person about what they're wearing.
Chris's Loose vs Tight Truck Theory can be best related to a car crash. When your muscles are relaxed during a car crash, you experience better protection from injury. The opposite is true when you're muscles are contracting and tense.
I use almost the exact same setup as Chris and totally get the hard trucks thing. I'm a big dude too though, 6'1" tall and over 200lbs, so I instantly get wheel bite with loose trucks. Bones hard bushings for the win!
Chris Cole has some of the best insights into skating. His SLS commentary is almost like he’s giving a trick tip.
I love him commentating skateboarding. He should never stop his engagement with SLS. Also, I hope SLS is back asap, last year's contests were all insane regarding the level of skateboarding.
His SLS commentating is like Romo for football, best guys in the business
Yes he is the best commentator ever
Agreed. And that living in the future comment was some serious insight on life! 🙌
He is absolutely the best commentator
The show needs a monthly Chris Cole segment. Just Saying..
YES
thats so unrealistic what makes you think hes got the time for that
@@ofthamist lol imagine being petty enough to tell someone something they want isn't realistic. Who cares? It's a cool idea.
Kickin it with Cole
Honestly a cole segment would make the world a better place
Chris is always a great guest. Dude rips and he seem super chill.
Absolutely. He’s a family man too. Super well rounded/respected dude. One of the GOATs for sure
Max Howard I’m really glad you said that. It’s not easy to keep a family together like that I can only imagine trying to do it and still be as relevant as Cole is. Mad respect to Cole he’s one of my favorite skaters.
Dude back 180 nosegrind switch big heel out is about as tech as it gets
watch "Chris Cole NBD" part on youtube. EPIC !
blownonpurp I know right lol man there’s only two skaters to ever win soty twice him and Danny Way. I think that says enough lol considering D Way is without a doubt the gnarliest person to ever step on a board.
When I first got into skating I wasn't really into zero or fallen because it wasn't my aesthetic. I was a girl/chocolate type. And that's why I love skating so much because there's no boundaries or specific image
I love how Cole fans out on legends when he’s a legend himself ! So dope
I met him and told him how big of an influence he is to me and other dudes since his early days for skating, he was pretty thankful about hearing it! It goes full circle haha
Cobra has forgotten more tricks than most of us will ever even dream of doing. 🔥🛹
i love it when they have cole on the show..
Love Dubs on the show but really missing Roge already. Will he at least be back for the Experience?
Yeah Rog kinda balances everything out huh.. Dubs is a living legend tho 1000%
Need rog
At least throw a lapel mic on him off camera so we still get his wry comments.
We Really Are Missing Our Nice Big Package ! 😩
Roger is the glue.
I was so stoked about him being back in Zero and Fallen. I feel like a kid again.
I could listen to Chris talk about skating forever!! Great ep, as always keep up the great work fellas!
Thank you Nine Club for adding my son Jasper & my book "Wheels on the skateboard" to your bookshelf! As we jokingly have said to others who saw it we can now retire. Seriously though our gratitude for all of you guys is at 1000%!!! Much love from upstate NY!
Im so hyped for Cole back on Zero 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👑
It was awesome hearing him detail his board and setup and it being so consistent with his powerful, weighty style. Like there's a real coherence with his setup, the way he talks about skating and the way he rides... #GOAT.
wow these nine club sessions are such great advocates to so many skateboarding related things coming from pros we all look up to . so satisfying and relatable
We need to figure out how to get Rog back in the room guys. He's like our high school skate history teacher
So true!
Honestly one of the best Stop N Chats. Cole is tied with The Chief and Lopez as the skaters that are most influential to me. I've heard he's one of the most awesome guys in what is already an incredibly welcoming, lifestyle, we call skateboarding. I definitely get that vibe.
Glad he's back home with ZERO and Fallen 🤘
i always remember Cole’s “last” board on zero said “13 years of blood, sweat, and no tears” on the top graphic. It was sick.
this show, this crew, is helping me stay sane through 2020. Thanks so much.
I feel the same way about time going fast! Time doesn’t go fast as a kid because we don’t plan or consider time as important.. now we schedule everything subconsciously even.. rent the 1st, internet bill the 5th, phone bill the 11th, energy bill the 12th, etc etc etc.. we’re always waiting for another date to take care of some responsibility as an adult. love Jeron being on the show
411 VM10 Was My First 411, I've been watching it a lot lately. It gets me really pumped on skating. It as revitalized my skateboarding. I love it. Keep up the awesome content guys.
Chris: “watch out for the Stockton slap”
Me: 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Everyone on the nine club: 🦗
Me: oh they don’t watch ufc 😂
He got cut off real quick hahah.
Diaz Bros are legends
right!!!

cole is just the best dude. he is so humble and well spoken and just makes a great chat. cheers boys
Love listening to Chris Coles input! Smart dude straight up!
I need to rewatch his parts now, just a quick reminder of how boss Cole is! Like seriously who else has done what he has done?! A legend
From 2008-2010 he was giving prod and Andrew Reynolds a run for their money , I vividly remember 😂
19:10 ..when she's talking to her friends about you the next morning
😂😂😂
hahhahahahah
😂💀
The best comment
Lets go !! Chris Cole from my neck of the woods..always a chill dude

I miss Roger, where he at
Love listening to Cole, such an inspirational guy. And love seeing Dubs as a regular!!
Man Chris Cole is the coolest.. and one of the best skaters ever! Hope to see him in person for another Nine Club Experience!
Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol was the movie with the skate section.
Great talking about your trucks, bushings & ankle movements. Thank you Chris Cole & The Nine Club!
i'm 36 mins in and this episode is amazing. Chris has got to be my favorite skater of all time. I'll never forget the hype for Ride the Sky and watching it for the first time when the DVD came in the mail. Billy and Tommy Guns parts were crazy but Chris was on another level
51:26 Roger with Stella spotted in the Background behind the Curtain
lol
would be rad if there was a little easter egg roge every episode he missed
Damn fellas, you just keep knocking it out of the park with the guests lately. I'm really digging these lifestyle chats!
Making me nostalgic, sk8TV and 411,, RIP Skatemaster Tate, great episode as always fellas, Cole back on !ZERO!
Same here, man. Kid Vid from the Burger King Kid's club!

I miss the days when I watched In Bloom on repeat on vhs back when there was no youtube.
"Aw hell no what's up dawg?"
"Hey kid! I'm a computer, stop all the downloading!
Help computer"
ksweetg “can’t buy love, you can’t sell feelings. We were meant to eat each other”
I don't know much about computers except for the one I got at home my mom put a couple games on there JEGJRFSJIGDIBIP
The Nine Club should release a full length part of all the Stop-n-Chat guests they’ve taken to the curbs with them
I need roge we all miss him I love jeron don’t get me wrong but atleast once awhile roge
#TeamRog69
Zero has always been my fav. I’m so glad he’s back man
I love this podcast. Currently binge watching.
Adrian Lopez's part in Thrill of it all was my favorite part growing up
Congrats on coming home to Zero and old school companies. My boy Derrell Stanton skated 8 1/2 in the early 2000's in the LBC.
Chris Cole is a legend !!! Been a fan since New blood came out, glad to see him come back to zero. Wasn't the same without him 🛹💨💯
I remember meeting cole at sls in la and he was just the nicest guy ever and such a welcoming guy he didn’t have to fake anything he was just himself and being a amazing funny human being
We need a show with Jamie Thomas and Chris Cole. Both are hilarious, and are so well spoken and have so much knowledge. I can only imagine both of them together.
I love Zero & Children of Bodom Chris!!
Can you please please get T-Funk for a interview on nine club 🙏🏼
Great episode! 2 hours of pure cole! he is great! greetings from Colombia dudes!!!
Great job everyone! Background production on point! Keep it up @TheNineClub
Chris Cole ! Back at home with Zero ! Heck yeah !
Chris Cole is the man!
Chris Cole is a straight up legend
And so is Roger Bagley, we love you Rog!
The part about just taking ANYTHING with a skateboard in it as a kid, totally true when he said you didn't care even if it was a cartoon with an Xtremely Goofy Movie. Only reason I watched it repeatedly
Another Damn It All with a chris cole part is video of the year
I love Jeron, and I’m happy he’s a bigger part now, but there is genuinely no logical explanation that he is co-host. It should so obviously be Kelly!
I don’t think he or anyone is the co host lol
Just enjoy the show dude.
Kelly still over here with the camera button hahaha
Live in the moment! Next on ManRamp, ManBoard.. Loved the show, once again!
I skate the same hard black bushing and super tight trucks. Feel like I get way more pop with tight trucks especially nollie. Everything Chris says about right trucks is totally true.
Living Legend Chris Cole🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
One of the all time greats no doubt. ride the sky was my youth. Forever rise with the fallen 🙏🏾
So in the "No Roger" thing permanent? I love Jeron, but Roger is such a huge part of what you guys have built. Just my opinion,,,
1:17:50 new respect gained. He's talking about the Jackson Randy Rhoads Concorde offset flying V. Beautiful guitar from the best guitarist ever.
Thank you guys! Keep going!
“Adrain Lopez fans type of death threats!”LMFAO Chris Cole rules!! Sick episode have him back more often! Keep killing it guys!!🤘🏽

Hahaha I remember Ebaumsworld I loved that site when I was a kid
Cole is THE man.
Started skating the nose wen we learned switch, it was difficultly different & seeing Chris do in dying to live ,we tried it & I worked brilliantly! So Dope
Pure greatness
Met Chris Cole at Sheldon. Super chill dude!!
I like the conversations in this episode about how personal style (clothes shoes, etc. progressed over time) but it can be hard to tell that through a video part because the outside world doesn't see the footage until later the way the people on the session who are always around do. Ayeee good looks on Cole mentioning the Stockton slap! 209 represent!
Chris Cole is so dope
I want to see John Rattray on this!
I want behind the scenes footage of Chris' face the whole time Kelly's marketing Mob at 1:35:00
Chris Cole rules!
Chris Cole skating to Pinkerton... fuckkkk legendary
GiJoe skits are from Eric Fensler aka Fenslerfilms. He also wrote for Tim n Eric awesome show- and now works with Nike.
Yes mate Radlands, Southbank and Carl Shipman get a mention, Stoked !
Who doesnt want to be Cole's friend? He is the best human ever!!!
Chris's Loose vs Tight Truck Theory can be best related to a car crash. When your muscles are relaxed during a car crash, you experience better protection from injury. The opposite is true when you're muscles are contracting and tense.
I wanna see a Tommy Sandoval stop and chat post sobriety
Kelly harts laugh is everything
Just bought 2 of coles boards on the zero site! Didn’t think I’d ever be able to see him back on zero but damn “zero and fallen!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Cole we need that 15 minute footage
Favorite skater of all time
I use almost the exact same setup as Chris and totally get the hard trucks thing. I'm a big dude too though, 6'1" tall and over 200lbs, so I instantly get wheel bite with loose trucks.
Bones hard bushings for the win!
around 1:32:00 when he was talking about squeaky pivot cups... you can put small shavings of wax in there instead of graphite, works quite well
Waited the whole episode for someone to mention the mic and coaster in front of Chris's screen, 😆🤙...
