As always, you've uploaded a colourful and interesting video. I love looking at the buildings as the bus goes past. The 139 is one of my favourite routes. There's always something to see.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! 😄 I'm delighted to hear that you enjoy the colorful and interesting videos, especially the views of the buildings along the 139 route. It's wonderful to know that this route holds a special place in your heart due to its constant excitement. Your support and enthusiasm truly mean a lot, and I'll keep working hard to bring you more captivating content. Stay tuned for more bus journeys and beautiful sights! 🚌🏙️🌟
As always, your videos bring out a sense of belonging nurtured by that personal touch. A lot of people are missing these lovely journeys and this one in particular took me back in time to my childhood, when our family would sit down after dinner to play this wonderful game of Monopoly. Traveling through Strand, Regent, Piccadilly, Oxford, Marlborough, and Marylebone, 139 rekindled the child in me. The 'leafy' West Hampstead neighborhood looked dazzling. A new addition to your repertoire is the detailed description of the places this lovely route took. Thank you once again for your effort. Great work and do keep going.
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind comment! 😄 I'm thrilled to hear that my videos are able to evoke those cherished memories from your childhood and bring back that sense of nostalgia. It's heartwarming to know that you enjoyed the journey through the Monopoly board and that the detailed descriptions of the places added to your experience. Your support and encouragement mean the world to me, and I promise to keep bringing you more exciting content. Thanks again for being a part of this wonderful community! 🙌🌟
Absolutely fantastic video. The 139 route will always be something to me as my Dad used to drive that regular back in the early 1990's when he was based at Chalk Farm and later, Holloway. Spent many a time during school holidays down there with him riding on the 139 and the 10. Of course, it only ran from Trafalgar Square to West Hampstead, with occasional journeys carrying on to Golders Green, with the more classic RM's then. 😎
Thank you for sharing your personal connection to the 139 route! It's amazing how public transportation can hold such nostalgic memories for many of us. Riding along those familiar routes with your dad must have been truly special. If there's anything specific you'd like to see or reminisce about in future videos, feel free to let me know. Happy travels down memory lane! 🚌✨

The 139/189 took over from the legendary iconic route of the 159. It travelled between West Hampstead to Thornton Heath. I spent much of my youth on the 159 that also served both of the famous cricket grounds Lords & The Oval.
It sounds like you have fond memories of the 159 route and its connection to your youth, including the cricket grounds Lords and The Oval. Nostalgia for transportation routes can be quite special. Anything specific you'd like to share or discuss about those memories?
