Looking back on earlier episodes with what we know now, the MHC was beyond corrupt. Makes sense for eclipsa to seem eccentric. She’s completely by herself, and even thought giving her the benefit of the doubt don’t trust her. She’s all alone and trying to do the best she can. She’s just like an older star with a darker aesthetic. She’s never had authority and is undermined at every turn while she tries to make the best of a bad situation.
