The main problem is that despite them claiming they aren't a religious organization, and your "higher power" doesn't have to be God, its fairly obvious if you read any of their literature that they're blatantly religious. Like, if the Bible replaced every instance of "God" or "Jesus" with "Your Higher Power" it would still be a religious book. And this is fine for individuals who want that, but its very problematic when courts in the US default to mandating AA and NA. It is, I would argue, an obvious violation of the first amendment.
South Park kind of mimicked this scene in the episode "Bloody Mary"; in that episode Randy was told to talk about his embarrassing experiences with alcohol and drunk driving, and Garrison stood right next to him and called him a "loser", lol.
Used to watch this in school / college . Now after 20 odd years passing thru corporate life, marriage and divorce, I can confidently say, these two are a lot smarter than ANY manager I have ever had and a lot more fun than ANY woman I have been with.
