- Plumbing asmr video of how to install a limescale filter. In this asmr video I’m fitting a aquabion water filter. These units help condition the hard water using a zinc anode that helps change the properties of the water so the calcium isn’t aggressive!
The filter helps to prevent hard scale in your cold water pipes and hot water cylinders. Great for combi boilers but has to be installed to manufacturer instructions for it to work to its maximum potential!
I chose to use Ecoclip for the pipework is its great system for pipework spacing! Keeps all my pipes perfectly spaced for fittings and lagging!
I fitted an isolation valve after the filter so I can remove the unit in 7 years when the mi says it’s best to do so. Soldering the pipework was my choice as I had all the fittings and I’m most comfortable knowing all my distances and what I can fit in the spacing I had.
I love using the wera joker Xxl pipe wrench as it makes my life so much easier without setting a spanner and low risk of slipping. The ratchet function of the wrench really helps in the plumbing industry
Hey brother! Interesting how other specialist staffs are working in other countries. Im also a plumber in germany mate. Cant understand the ppl claiming thats something is „wrong“. Its just different knowledge. Keep on working brother 🤝

It's called lime scale reducer /descaler not a filter, it does not filter anything, the product changes the shape of lime scale, so it does not stick to the internal part of plumbing system

Oh the earthing cable is interesting.... mine isn't earthed across the filter, but it is elsewhere? So surely I don't need any extra earthing cable?

We fit them if you can’t fit a water softener. Next best thing 👊 no complaints yet and fitted about 20 ish
Nice, how do you get rid of liquid ptfe stain on radiator?
Big wipes etc, is it when you’re doing them or you have an old stain? Loctite is thicker and less risk of it running on the floor etc
What is this white compression grease?
And how to change this filter, how to maintain it?
Looks nice but why would you use pipe dope on a compression fitting.
Dont know, its just what ive been taught to do.

Why are you only pasting the front of the olive? Seems a bit pointless to me
