Beautiful layering of colours! With each layer, you seemed to be applying an opaque colour with your wedge, wetting the fresh paint and removing most of that paint with the wedge leaving these delightful, random soft-edged patches of colour. Is that correct? Do you pause to let a layer partially dry before wetting it?

yes, that's exactly what I do. I let the paint partially dry before wetting it again to avoid a mud fest. I hope this helps 😊

Thank you 😊 If you want to avoid getting mud, let each layer of paint dry before applying a new one. If you want to paint wet on wet, you have to be very light on your hand when applying new paint.

Kleiner Tipp - versuch mal eine dunkle Malunterlage. Damit kommt das Bild besser raus. Und weniger hecktische Malbewegungen. Deine Hand macht hier schliesslich ein Viertel von der Malfläche aus. 😉
