We are breaking offense records. Do we really need a diva receiver coming in and fucking up the chemistry that we newly created?? I think we are fine without Adams. If we are gonna pick up any players they should be on the defensive side of the ball.
I trust Adam to do what’s best for the team. Period. He’s not coming off anything detrimental to the teams future. He’s just not. If he can make it happen on his terms I’m all in. I can’t overstate how little I care about what JP Finlay thinks. He’s too cool to spend too much time on it anyway.
If we're 5-3 or better at the trade deadline and we don't do anything I'll be disappointed. I think if we make a splash it should be on defense, but a decent WR wouldn't be far behind. Doesn't have to be as costly as Adams though.

Keep in mind that several of the key players on defense sat out through the preseason. That does matter when a team is basically a new team. You need that cohesiveness, and that was missed. Now they are starting to gel.
Is Adams the type of receiver we want paired with Terry or is it tee Higgins? If it's an Adams type then do it and next free agency/draft you focus almost entirely on the defense bc your offense is largely complete outside of a TE/right tackle. I was screaming to trade up to get Brian Thomas jr but it's too late now.
Outside of Marvin Harrison Jr and Malik naybers there's another receiver that we should have traded up for why does this fan base want us to make a splashy move so bad especially when it wouldn't even benefit us that much
I will absolutely put my hand up as someone who would have drafted Maye. My reason was durability. I was (and still am) terrified about Jayden staying healthy. He's built like a sprinter and like to face-tank oncoming linebackers. In a league where injury ruins ALOT of promising careers, it seemed like a reasonable fear. And those first few weeks, Jayden was taking alot of hits. He's been better the last couple about sliding and getting out of bounds. I've also stopped seeing them send him into the defensive scrum on zone-reads. These are good things. But I never doubted that Jayden would be a fast-starting QB prospect. I would argue that he was always the most primed for a fast start. He's an explosive runner, and he has the most polished game of the big six QBs drafted. Of course I didn't know he'd be THIS good, but neither did anyone else because this is a historic fast start. But while I was a Maye-guy prior to the draft, Daniels had won me over before we even got to training camp. The work ethic and humility and intelligence are things I fetishize in my QB. And while I knew he had them pre-draft, again it was the scale of seeing them up closer that won me over. Also - Please God, don't let Commies be this team's name forever.
