@cynicusnihilisticusparadox2 Amazing breakdown. Is there any documentation of ALL sounds names? I could data mine them from later gravi team games, but have no success here.
Unlike the later games, this game has everything pretty much unlocked to play around with. Not sure if it's due to the JCM mod(Which there is a guide how to install it under Steam guides. All sounds are under the following folder of the game: Steam\steamapps\common\Steel Fury Kharkov 1942\data\k42\loc_rus\sounds Otherwise, JCM/STA installs a .bat in the main folder called arceditor.bat, that can be used to open up any archives in the game, so if the sounds folder is not unlocked, just try that instead As for the config file for each vehicle to see which sounds it uses. Those configs are found under: Steam\steamapps\common\Steel Fury Kharkov 1942\MODS\MatildaSfx_CNP\data\k42\loc_rus\levels\LEVELS\tech_cfg
@@cynicusnihilisticusparadox2 Amazing, I will try that out. That one still uses a different archive type and I could not find a tool to unpack or view them (unlike in operation star for later ones, where all tools are provided with the game) Actually not a big fan of loose files like in Steel beasts, unlike with mius front, I probably hesitate to publish a mod with that game, but who knows. For now tech_cfg was my biggest source. Let the AI run over it and pull out the relevant strings/prefixes hahaha But I even found unique sounds from my current MF mod in JCM, so you can unpack it anyway if you know what you do.
Yes it does, I would suggest going here and following the instructions to Install the JCM mod as it makes it much more playable. wikiwiki.jp/pzfr/Steel%20Tank%20Add-on

Is this game have campaign?
Yes, but not in true form. It has scenario's bunched together as a campaign. So each mission is still technically it's own thing
does the game works in steam?
