@@manishthapa866 I actually can tolerate the computer edit because it’s supposed to be an alien singing something but it would be impossible for a human so it works. I think about 90% of the rest of the performance is not actually being messed with at least not obviously, but once you hear that cut up run for how different it sounds you can’t unhear it. It’s an interesting edit though because for like the first five or six notes, it’s totally a keyboard, but they blend her real voice back in near the end of it, which I thought was done pretty well.

This performance is outstanding by all accounts, but I think a few parts had to be adjusted a little for him so it's not *as close* to the movie. The two ladies were about as on-par with the film as is possible.

Only 98%? Who are these 2%? I haven't seen any female singers who could sing this with as many notes, as precise of a staccato, as seamless a two-octave glissando, or hit the baritone notes, and some of the female singers don't even sing it in the original tempo. The only thing I can think of missing now from Dimash is for him to master this song in the original key, which is still well within his range, but staccato that high is very tricky, which is why it's jaw dropping and just makes vocal coaches speechless. It's truly miraculous for him to be able to perform this song this magnificently so close to the original key. I remember his performance in the Chinese singing show was in a lower key than this, which is why that rendition also didn't sound as good as the Bastau performance.

This is what I'm talkin' about: EXTREME SINGING !!! I've been waiting for a singer like him for years and I didn't know he already exists ! In the last 20 months I have listened only him, some of his songs for more than 200-300 times, and he still impresses me!

Although Dimash had to adapt some sections to fit the song into human vocal capability, it is incredible that a human being could produce such a wide range of vocal sound in the first place.
Not true. Most of it is sung by a real person, and Dimash isn't hitting the same speed and transitions they made with the computer. I get that you're a fan but let's be realistic
@angelobottigliero912 I only just discovered Dimash today from my stepmother (who's a vocal and piano teacher) after I brought up Vitas in a conversation, so I wouldn't call myself a fan...yet. Of course, he's a bit slower, and he removed the last section, but it's still significantly better than any of us commenters could do, even on our best day. There's no good reason to go looking for faults here, this is an exceptional display of talent regardless. Though I don't understand why Dimash and Vitas do the microphone waving thing sometimes, it sounds kinda cool but looks a bit odd.
@@Kezendia Not quite. 4 of the runs were made by Ivana Mula separately signing each note of the runs and then run through a computer at twice the speed and pitch adjusted for the increase in speed. Jane Zhang does the best rendition of this song I have ever heard, and she does it with no computers.

For me, it’s not even the top coloratura notes that impress me (yes, even in a guy - hear me out) but the jump from those to bass range so clearly and quickly. For instance 0:47 - 0:53 ish.
ikr? and i hate how all the haters claim dimash is only good because he can sing high. he has an outstanding range and impeccable control, regardless of the octave or the register he’s singing in.
@@ana7icia a perfect example of a singer using both vocal technique and range in his/her advantage. The range was the bonus, the technique is the icing in the cake.
And you are forgetting the air control in the whole song but specially at the end. Perfect tunning

Jorge Ruben tambien me gustaba la interpretación de ella pero hizo la desgracia de subir otra interpretación donde segun ella la canto identica en todo y la muy descarada hizo playback eso le quita todo el merito absoluto en cuanto a mujer Laura tiene la mejor interpretación y en Hombre pues Dimash es el unico hombre con huevos que la cantado y que en mi gusto tiene la mejor interpretación en general
