I have just started using notion and looking around ideas for a good simple and functional yet aesthetic dashboard. I think yours fit the bill since I am not planning on making a today page or even a separate page for the week. I will be copying a good bit of it 😅. I am hoping I can use this on a day to day basis while I build my databases. I would be very interested in a more detailed video on how you’ve set up your recurring tasks.😊 Thanks for the video. It was very helpful.❤
@@ExtraTxt I love it. I had some annoying things on my dash that were there for only mobile. I was so excited to remove them. I only use mobile for a few things so I can easily access my grocery list, add my water with a quick button, and a couple of other things. I don't need most of the dash on Mobile so I'm so excited!
As someone who's just started using Notion, I found this *super* helpful :)) Also: I really love the notion (hehe) of healthy productivity that you talked about! Thanksss and I'll be sure to have a look at your other videos as well
Thank you so much for sharing your setup with us! You mentioned a video for your Experiences dashboard (with the crafting corner, library, etc.), but I couldn't find it in the description or in your video list. Is it by chance unlisted somewhere? Would LOVE to see it! Notion girlie here, currently thinking through how to integrate my productivity dash with the other areas of my life (specifically those!).
Ohh this is so cool! My setup is very similar, but I still got a few ideas from yours that I think would work better. I love to see how fellow ADHDers use their notion cause it's been such a life changing tool for me!

Can I please ask where you get the images from for your banners? I'd love to find some cohesive ones going forward.

I’m working on a little video about all the buttons I have in my notion and this one will be in there! ♥️ The mobile set-up will also get a separate video sometime soon ☺️
I love your wellness template, I have a similar journal (we should all have a low effort one to keep track of things even when we're exhausted), but I could never find a good system to do a weekly review (and a monthly one aka what will I tell my psychiatrist about last month? :D)
Oooh a monthly review is something I’ve been wanting to add as well but I have not quite figured out how haha. I feel like starting with a weekly review and building up to a month could help in making the monthly one less overwhelming 😊
Thank you! And absolutely! You can just get the template and then if needed change some dates here and there. But that’s it, the template is not limited to a specific year! It’s just the setup that I’ve been running in 2024 :)
@@ExtraTxt Omggggg sweetness! That's awesome! The ✨depth✨ that you put into all of this is so exciting! You definitely have a talent for organizing all the things! 🤩
Ok i just purchased the template and while i do think itll need some time to get used to it, i think its really strong and helpful! Only thing is that i would like to change the career page to a uni page and create subfolders for the different subjects and im not entirely sure how to approach that so i was wondering if you were down to make a video thats more in depth about page relations for example (or whatever knowledge it is people need to link their pages together)
Hii!! Thanks for purchasing my template! 💜 So the relations are technically just a “select” database property that I consistently add to all databases in my system. So if you want to change career to uni all you have to do is rename the page, go into all core databases and change the tag “career” to “uni” and then all the filters should also immediately work because they are technically filtering on the same but renamed tag! 💜
I love how you have this set up! Question - at the end of 2024, what are you going to do with all of this? Will you archive it or does it carry into 2025 in some way? What about the Tasks that have not been completed? (I am a Notion-Novice and as much as I love learning about it -and I do!!- I also get frustrated when I have to unclick everything just to have things fresh again, and am wondering how you are going to migrate from one year into the next. (Or, do I have to wait until December for that?)
Aaaah thank you!! To be honest - I'm not sure yet. Throughout the year I have already noticed some things I'd like to improve about my set-up so it will definitely get a bit of a make-over but I will most likely keep the core databases. The only database I migth clean out (or start new) is the goals and the tasks database because if I keep those for multiple years I'm afraid they will become so large my notion would start lagging. But one of the main reason I went for a "core database" set-up is so I could technically change the whole layout and set-up of my notion while using the same databsases as the foundation! (:
Amazing! Thank you! How did you add the widgets and cards for the mobile dashboard? And how did you add the quick button for “done” in calendar view? Thank you!
Hii! What exactly do you mean with the widgets and cards for the mobile dashboard? (: If all is well I just used database overviews in a single column and no external widgets on the dashboards itself. If you mean the widgets on my home screen of my actual phone; idk how to do this on android but on iphone you just long press your home screen, add a widget in the top left corner and then select a notion page!! The done button in the calendar view is done by using the Notion button system. As of recently you can add a button to a database that you then “program” (no code is needed, it’s just a little set-up menu) to change certain properties in the database! (:
@@ExtraTxt thank you! I was just repeating the words you used in that part but after that I found a video with how you work with notion for mobile devices and that shows the answer!! Thank you! I was wondering though. Is there a way in notion of having a “master calendar” that includes all the databases? I know that can be done in notion calendar but I don’t like it so far. 😅
@@sofiash24 A master calendar is my biggest wish for notion! You can technically use Notion Calendar for this (show your database in there) but that is a separate app. I wish there was a calendar view in notion (and I’m not the only one who wishes that haha, I know a lot of notion users would absolutely love it!)
I love your setup and I would love to rebuild it from scartch because I don't have the money right now to pay for the entire setup. I just don't get how you did it. I watched your content creation plan but it showed the basics. Will there be a more advanced one coming? Also I would find a video super helpful how to integrate your template if I would buy it, because I am new to notion and I just started building it with you :D Maybe you could get more sales from it even though money is more my issue right now :)
So technically with all the tips in the notion for beginners video and the “how to make pretty notion pages” video you should have all the information to recreate what I made. I did not use any other special tricks or anything. I don’t think I’ll be doing a step by step video on how to build this dashboard because then I’d kind of be killing my own product 😅 I understand that money can be a challenge so that’s why I put out basic notion tutorials so people can learn how to do things themselves. The reason I sell templates is because you’d be buying yourself years of Notion trial and error and months of setting up. If you are not in a position to pay for that time saved then you’d have to invest the time to learn how to do it yourself. I’ve done that as well as I was never in a position to buy templates either 😅 I know it sounds like a big task but I’m sure you got this!! Notion has a learning curve for sure but once you feel a bit skilled you could even make better things than this because you understand the concept! 😊
Hey, you said you show they recurring tasks in the Sunday reset video. I think in that video you had already used the button and sorted items before recording. Could you please make a video(or point me in the right direction) on how it works? Thank you!
You're not the first person to ask me about this so I have a video planned to talk about this. However my current planning is super swamped so it might take a little while before I get it done! But I promise I have a video in the works on Notion buttons! 💜

Hi Ro, Quick question and/or your opinion. I'm using Notion Calender, but missing the 2 way sync with google calender. Did you ever use 2sync connection for this feature?
Hi! I am, I just linked my google account to notion (by logging in with it) and it automatically loaded everything into Notion. Ever since it has been working. When I change something in notion cal it changes in google too and the other way around. I’m not sure if it’s a feature you’re even supposed to enable because I assumed it was enabled by default! I would suggest reaching out to Notion support if it is not working for you 😊
@@ExtraTxt thanks! It didn't sync for me to my google account. Weird. I found this answer on Notion: You can only add a database while using Notion Calendar for desktop or web. At the moment, you can only view your Notion database in Notion Calendar, not in Google Calendar. Now used the 2sync application that is offered, but that charges 7 to 9 euro's per month. Will reach out to Notion!
Tech question: Is there anywhere in your template where, let's say filling out a property, you go to another notion db, capture data, and then come back and paste in the property. So, a type property needs to be filled out where which has subtypes, select the subtype, and then come back and paste? This is stumping me and my friend. Say, I exercise as a task, but I have 4 subtype exercises: swim, run, playing badminton, other. Another one might be eat, and be able to pick breakfast, lunch, dinner, a snack. So the pick lists could be simple and drill down?
I'm very sorry but I do not understand your question? It sounds like you're asking about how certain things in Notion work - like how to use the different properties. I'd suggest watching some in depth tutorials about Notion for that as it's not specific to my set-up. If that is not the question you're asking then please clarify what exactly you'd like to know as I really dont know how to answer your question right now
Not sure if this helps, but there are ways to code things into Notion with codes similar to Excel workbooks... I just spent 3 days hardwriting codes for dropdown lists dependent on separate categories for a Budget planner in excel and that sounds similar to what you are asking. I haven't explored it in practice, but I think the answer might be yes you can it just isn't as simple as a simple preset setting you can click I think unless you do some form of nested database which again, I'm not sure that would work but who knows.
7:15 Can you tell me how to create the tab? Like tabs for tasks, tabs for content, etc.. how do you make it so it's on the side? Do you understand what I mean?
This is such golden knowledge and information to your setup! I am a dedicated notion user like you and will adopt the layout as you!

May I ask what font you are using? It's so beautiful
Which font exactly? :) the one in my thumbnails/notion or in the video?
@@ExtraTxt such as“Home,Today, this week Incoming”in this video's notion home page .thanks
@@wjan7506 It’s just one of the three notions default fonts! You can change those in the top right corner by clicking on the context menu. If you don’t know how to do that you can watch my video on how to make your notion pages look pretty as I cover it as one of the first tips! 🩷

Thank you for this video! I have a question: how do you drag the unscheduled weekly tasks into your week schedule? I don't know how to make it work like that!
There was no specific set-up or setting required it just worked so i don’t know how to fix it 😅🫣
@@ExtraTxt what views did you use?
@@lisahernandezlucasIt’s the same database. One is the week view and the other is the list view I think 😅 I’m not home for the rest of the week so I’m afraid I cannot check
@@Rosannatxt thanks! I figured it out 😀
I need to know how you do it all. do you have a video time management?
Hi!
These are different videos I can recommend to watch on my channel to answer the ‘how i do it all’ question:

Weird. I found this answer on Notion:
You can only add a database while using Notion Calendar for desktop or web.
If that is not the question you're asking then please clarify what exactly you'd like to know as I really dont know how to answer your question right now
@@ExtraTxt Sorry, It's easier to demo than describe. I don't think it's a natural behavior of notion.
I can't find your experiences video - what is it under? THANK YOU!
Here you go! 🩷 ruclips.net/video/X86_J_zDg9Y/видео.htmlsi=ljmVX0MoooipFC-_
7:15 Can you tell me how to create the tab? Like tabs for tasks, tabs for content, etc.. how do you make it so it's on the side? Do you understand what I mean?
I show how to do this in the following video: ruclips.net/video/-r65gQZmnig/видео.htmlsi=e7CGFDvqgyj0EiND (around 13m)!
Hope this helps 🩷
If I buy the template and you make updates will they auto update?
No unfortunately that is not a feature that is available as a feature in Notion
So is this just basically 5 databases but filtered for each area?
I have 7 core databases that all have the same property called “life area” that I then use to filter on the different dashboards yes :)
@@ExtraTxt this is really making me think about buying the whole setup. Thank you so much!
@@CesareReySearch the PARA method - it will give you more context behind Areas.
