Keren was and is always DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!
Amen to that.
You are sooo right!
I do not agree, not at all! Sarah and Siobhan always look far more interesting and fashionable. Keren has always looked like a little boy with some make up on
stunning she is
Absolutely.
Keren, so gorgeous, my favorite bananarama singer, for sure !
Keren Woodward is still molten hot in 2020.
They were truly trendsetters. Every body followed them.
So true. Legend has it they're style and looks influenced even Madonna.
Karen is stunning, loved those 80s girls
Hey kids this is what females used to look and act like before 3rd wave feminism destroyed western civilization!
The 3 young ladies in the right place at the right time and in the right stage of life to be very popular.
As a an eighties rocker, Bananarama had a slot in my record collection. They were/still are extremely talented. Their songs bring me many great memories. Siobhan, you are the sexiest in my opinion. Wow!
That logo at the end almost blew my eardrums
Haha! I was just about to post, "Thanks for blowing my ears out with the DC lightning bolt sound," (wearing headphones) and then saw your comment.
Me too and my speakers!
Christian Cairns, WHAT????? Yes, that blew my ears out, too!
Mine too those idiots! They don't think about that.
Love Keren, love Sarah, ADORE Siobhan!
Me too. Siobhan is my favorite member.
@@debbieharryfangirlforever Sarah's my favourite member
When host interviewing was an art.
The brunette, damn!!! 😍

WOW I thought I was the only eighties kid who had a mean crush on Keren(or the pretty one back then) turns out everyone did!
I had a huge crush on Sarah back then

Keren is HAWT !
All the female musical groups of today wish they could be Bananarama!
fact
But only on the first two albums. They got really sad beginning with Venus. Thats why Siobhan quit
Spice girls
Love their songs
Love their fashion too
How lovely ladies
Bananarama
Long life Bananarama!
On this day in 1983 {April 2nd} Bananarama performed their covered version of "Na Na Hey Hey (Kiss Him Goodbye)" on the Dick Clark ABC-TV Saturday-afternoon program, 'American Bandstand'...
One month later on May 8th, 1983 the song peaked at #101 on Billboard's Bubbling Under the Top 100 chart...
It reached #14 on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs chart...
Fourteen years earlier on November 30th, 1969 the original version by the New York City group Steam reached #1 {for 2 weeks}...
Between 1982 and 1988 Bananarama had eleven records on the Top 100 chart, three made the Top 10 with one reaching #1, "Venus", for one week on August 31st, 1986...
Besides "Venus", the British trio's other two Top 10 records were "Cruel Summer {#9 for 1 week in 1984} and "I Heard A Rumour" {#4 for 3 weeks in 1987}...
You know you’ve made it when you’re on the Dick Clark Show
interesting to hear them speak - Thanx for the upload!
I LOVE SIOBHAN
ICONS!
Massive crush on Keren, before- the craziness of crushes, haha :-)
They along with Jody Watley were the only Females who sang on Do They Know It's Xmas as part of Band Aid. They also have another thing in common. Their "First" Single was a cover of The Velvelettes "He Was Really Saying Something" who like The Contours, Kim Weston, and Brenda Holloway were overlooked in the Motown Story. Jody and the "Original" Shalamar did a Medley of Motown Songs including "He Was Really Saying Something" as well. In Later Years, Jermaine Stewart who replaced Jeffrey Daniels sang backup on Culture Club's "Miss Me Blind" who had hits like "We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off" "The Word Is Out" and "Jody" about Jody Watley. Sadly enough he too would die of AIDS Related Illnesses. He moved to Paris France where it was easier to be Gay there than in the US at that time. In the past it was a haven for James Baldwin, and Langston Hughes.
Love them, great songs.
They are real natural beauties and so British.
Beautiful singers, Gorgeous Girls..❤️❤️❤️...
Crazy talented song writers amazing !!
As a kid, I sideways had a crush on Sarah, but now I love Siobahn, she's crazy knock out beautiful. Keren was kinda TOO pretty for me
I miss the 80's!!!!
Siobhan... and I'm dead.
Siobhan was incredibly beautiful as were the others, what happened for her to leave?
Siobhan split because she wasn't happy with the musical direction Bananarama was taking (very pop oriented, and she wanted to do her own thing and started Shakespears Sister.
Because she actually made real music
I have to say I liked the way he was so careful to interview them all, equally.
Siobhan was definitely one of Ireland's best exports 🇮🇪
Siobhan is absolute amazing
So young and soooo sweet...😍😍😍
Karen just wakes up hot at 6am. You can't take a bad photo with a face like that.
Keren ❤️
Love their accents
Wow if you listen to their recent 2017 interviews they have different accents, definitely more well spoken now...
Keren and Sara ought to be speaking with Bristol accents here because they'd only been living in London for a few years but they sound like Londoners.
I noticed that straight away, very odd.
@@Parseenfroo Not really, Accents can change quite easily. They're not as 'fixed' as people like to believe.
@@anonnymous4684 OK
OMG! I loved this show!
Beautiful girls !!
Isn’t Philadelphia and New York in the same time zone?
right.
Saw them open for Sinead O'connor in ATL, best decade ever....
New York and Philadelphia are in the same time zone!
They have a nice style
1:01 inner corner highlight? So that’s where it started! 😊
Keren Woodward fit as fuck
Cute ❤️❤️❤️
Sara con su cabello rubio alborotado h sofia con su estilo don mis favoritas
In The UK, they kicked the door open for every girlgroup that came after them most notably The Spice Girls and Girls Aloud. They never bought into the "I'm a Pop Star" Image. They just liked to perform.
They wrote their songs, made their own clothes, correographed their dances and did their own hair and makeup. No glam squad for thrm.
0:52 damn 💖
The world tour didn't happen until 2018.
Funny how Keren and Sara talk with London accents when they're from Bristol! Maybe they picked it up from living in London for a few years.
The tour happened in 1989, only with Jacquie O'Sullivan as Siobhan had left the group by that point.
the world tour did happen back in 1989, not with Siobhan, Jacqui had replaced her
That’s what people do when they move
Keren Banbanarama very pretty lady
he has a watch with new york and philly, which are in the same time zone. 🤷🏼♂️
Bananabanga!
Shakespears Sister brought me here...
Philadelphia and New York are the same time zone, you only need one watch.
Dick Clark was such a dork.
Yeah, I never could stand Dick Clark for some reason.
in their new interviews they sound really posh
i would like meet someone like Keren Woodward with her same eyes and her same sensual lips to kiss her all time.
gerardo rivera Andrew Ridgeley does. (her husband from Wham)
@Hamilton Moses jesus that's a little strong!! He has a crush.
She is unique, you will never find another woman like her.
Gross
@van wray I want to meet the Pope
Funny how Keren and Sara are talking with London accents when they're both from Bristol!
They had been living in London for a long time the. Easy. That’s what people do when they move
Their style is coming back around...
I love all three of these girls but Karen is my favorite that's my baby
Madonna was very aware of Bananarama (and the Belle Stars, and Altered Images and so on) long before any of them started appearing in American magazines. She pinched the image, but cheapened it by adding sex.
Karen had you met me in the '80s you would have been the happiest woman on the planet. Physically and financially
Weirdo. Stalker
By now Dick Clark wore diapers. This episode introduced me to Bananarama.
wow....really?
😂😂😂
Sick has a dual time zone watch to keep time in New York (EST) and Philadelphia (also EST)? What? 😆
Who were the other members of the Bananarama band, Drummer? Bass guitar? Keyboards?
They used session musicians.
La Mas Rica siempre es la del medio
Sara and Karen wow
I used to find siobhan soooooo pretty then she did this to her hair!
1:27 did she said Turkey?
No, she said "Tokio"
Am I wrong but wouldn't Philadelphia and New York have the same time? Aren't they the same time zone? I think he's making a joke about having one watch since he only needs to know Eastern time.
I love Keren
Oh yeah, back in 1982 my sister's boyfriend's sister wore three watches. She was Irish so maybe Dublin time was on it as well as CA and NY time.
+Mark Rosen Maybe so...but he also doesn't care how "unhip' he looks (which is one of his great charms). :)
+Mark Rosen Maybe so...but he also doesn't care how "unhip' he looks (which is one of his great charms). :)
He was this '40s and '50s generation and by the '80s he may have looked unhip but he fit right in for the time.
The host is a real ... 2:06
They sound a lot posher now.
THEY LOOK AMERICAN
Dick Clark's watch, NOBODY CARES
Karen is what everyone is looking at.
I love Bananarama and MrPoopface
So rare to hear a London accent! They went all posh unfortunately....
Lip synch
Who was Sara's boyfriend??
Bono
Hamilton Moses sara dated the edge?????
Could this guy be any more patronising?
LOL you clearly don't know how an interviewer is supposed to ask questions. Sensitive much?
The host is creepy
You call me a douche so your the douche bag, sorry if I offended you asshole.
I didn't get that
Keren ❤
