Dad was Valvoline racing director 1960-1970 out of Los Angeles. I attended most of the tracks, drag or closed circuit, in So Cal. My favorite drag was Orange County International......running under the freeway! Looks like it was fun....wish I could go!
I really dig seeing all those older roadsters that are a throwback to the days when everything was imperfect and you cobbled together what you could get your hands on. Thin tires and all!
Awesome day! When I used to go to the drags, I pretty much spent most of the days in the pits too. I had Mini Lite mag wheels on my Pinto. Only drawback with magnesium wheels is usually you have to run tubes. It WILL be pricey, but if you want a cover that will last, you need to get one made by Sunbrella's top of the line canvas. My last cover was for my boat that was a custom fit and it was about $600. The previous cover was over 30 years old and just dirty. I used some of the old cover to make custom wheel covers for my travel trailer and they still look like new! IMO, it's better to look cool than fast.
such a cool event! thanks for putting it out there for us. Also, great idea partnering with a car cover company. I had to keep my AMG outside one year when I lived in PA, and it was awful. A good car cover saved me, then I realized how great it was just to keep a clean car from getting dusty, so I put on the cover on even when I got a garage space back.
Cool cars, love the relationship between Grandpa, Son and Grandson, Three generations of fun 🤩 I try to stay involved in my Sons and their cars too 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Glad you all had a great time at a great track. Very cool that you, your Dad, and your Grandpa, were all there together. Don't forget to get as many "3 generation" pictures as you can.
You should hop a ride with your grandpa. Deuce Days is an unbelievable show and the CanAm Curmudgeons are a great group to travel with, you wouldn't be disappointed. Love your videos.
Nice videos! It's like taking a step back in history with hot rods, gassers and more. Plus the racing is done at a drag strip and not on public streets.👍
@@FourSpeedFilms I still have my 65 Fastback, from high school got it in 1988. It's dark metallic green just like yours. I just need to put it back together.
Breakfast Tamales 🫔 I need that tradition in my life too! Killer vid as usual man, Tom's roadster "El Dorado" is one of the coolest Deuces on earth. Him and Diana are just the nicest folks. Good to see a glimpse of her sedan kickn some butt on the track. Hope you can highlight them in a vid someday too.
That’s so cool! Let us know if you end up taking Bad news next year and I will make sure to get my 67 cougar to the show. I would love to see Bad News and get to meet you guys.
Hey Ben super to see you and dad at the Antique Nationals,, hope next year Dad will bring Bad News out,,,maybe he and I will race .....Mondo Bitchen! thanks
I love your channel. Your gifted at video editing !!! Where do you find the awesome audio/song tracks? I need to find a source for my classic semi/restoration stuff channel. Every time i try to add music i get flagged for copyright stuff.
good shit man, one of these days i'll have to bring my four speed nova down from the Bay Area. Just wondering, what camera do you use to film? Look killer

I LOVE GASSERS 💪🚗
COOOL!
Guy's that bought Snap-On tools out of that truck are just about done making payments on them.
It's a hell of a racket, but they do hold their value.
The only one I liked was the Chevy gasser, the rest were.... meh. There should be meets with only gassers, nothing else!
I don't think there are enough gassers out there lol
