Many people have no idea that there is lots of farming in NJ. I used to be a Mercedes-Benz parts manager, and had to go to the new warehouse in Robbinsville, NJ. Farms galore! I stopped at a roadside fruit stand...some of the best tasting tomatoes I ever had.
You are right there are a lot of nice places like that in Jersey still. If you ever get to south Jersey check out Sugar Maple Jerseys. They have great stuff and opened a little farm store. Www.sugarmaplejerseys.com
@@mikep7810 Thanks, Mike. There is one heck of a dairy south of Chicago, on I 65, in Indiana. Some years back, several dairy farms decided to abandon California, so, they sold out, and bought, I think, 10k acres in Indiana, called Fair Oaks Farms. Huge operation. They have their own dairy processing..do their own milk, cheeses, and ice cream. They have a birthing barn, a store, and a B & B type setup. It is impressive. I just found out they are under investigation for animal abuse. In large operations, you're bound to have some sadistic bastards as they gravitate to large farms...easier to hide.
That's a shame to hear. No problem about telling you about the place in New Jersey. If you like fresh farm products you'll have to check out that site. I've gotten a few things from there. Great stuff!
After seeing his shirt and hat, it sure is nice to see someone in your family have good taste in equipment!! 😂😂 Just kidding! He did great, and it was nice that you were able to coordinate him being able to drive the grain cart.
Hi Mike, looks like the new help is a good man! Only problem is he has the wrong sweatshirt for owning blue iron! He definitely did a good job to bad he isn't around more to help. Thanks for another super video!!¡!!!!!!!!!!
Not many kids his age seem to want to go out & do that kind of work anymore. It's always good to see some of the younger generation trying to help out on the farm. Hope you & your family had a good Christmas & have a Happy New Year. Stay safe.
You are absolutely right about that. I was so proud that he not only wanted to do it but got over being nervous getting into a bigger tractor and did great
Cardboard cover over the auger is holding, nice modification. The grain cart & dump truck have worked well 2 get'r done! Way 2 go Steven, good job in the driver's seat! 👍👏😊
I remember your cousin from your older video's they have all the ford tractors. Nice to have someone interested in learning to help. And great to have the help to he did a good job. Merry Christmas Mike and have a Happy New Year
He did a great job Mike especially for being on camera. I too remember him from a video when you hauled some hay down there I think. Anyway if they ever want to sell one of the Fords please put them in touch with me haha Thanks
Nice job Steven. Load on the go your 1st day out. Mike i got a tell you Steven is the only guy that made me buy anything red. He'll tell you the story. Best wishes to all for a safe and prosperous and productive new year. Great kid there his brother is also
Thank you Scott. Hope you have a happy new year too. They are both good boys that's for sure. Hopefully this February they can both come up when we go to the farm show
Cudos to Steven! Nice job, even loading on the go. Great way to add to your resume'. Thumbs up to your coach too, you can't buy the kind of confidence that doing a good job gives you. I bet that was a lot more fun than a video game...…...
I was hoping someone would give some props to his coach! LOL. He did great. I was glad to be able to get him in there. His smile at the end of the day said everything about how much fun he had
Merry Christmas and happy New Year Mike. I just live a few hours south of you in PA just below Williamsport. Love the videos you do a great job and so did your cousin. Please keep the videos coming...BIG JOHN DEERE FAN!!
Thank you Mike. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well. I appreciate the kind words and will definitely keep the videos coming. Thanks again
Time to upgrade to newer bigger combine ? Looks like he’d be a great helper for on the farm .. he really was attentive An carefull !! An learned quickly ..! 👍
Haha right! Did you notice by the end of the video the case sweatshirt was off and he had a flannel. I think he was starting to fall in love with those 55 series! Happy Birthday!
Looks like he's going to be a great helper in the future. He did a great job. How many acres of corn you have to get off yet? Happy New Year to you and family👍
I was definitely proud of him....and I'm not just saying that because later in the video he gets rid of the case sweatshirt! lol We are all done with harvest now. Finished right before Christmas. Just trying to get all the videos put together and posted. Happy New Year to you and your family as well!
The 4555 is running around 200 pto horsepower. You could go with a smaller tractor but with that cart fully loaded is really heavy. I feel it if I'm taking the cart fully loaded up a hill. The bigger the better

I think it's getting really close to time for an upgrade. Yes I was really proud of him. He did great
mike you have to put on some strob lights on the 4420 that would make it look like its big brothers.
I should have. Its sounding more and more like this is the last field with that combine though
Nice job he did good but he will need some green attire but good job running the tractor and grain buggy.
Haha, he may be wearing case but I'm sure after running the 4555 he has a soft spot for the 55 series
That's good he's becoming a man after my own heart
Good job Steven
Thank you
Good job Steven!
Thank you
Ford farmer visiting a John Deere farmer wearing Case clothing? WT? Good video mike.
Thank you. Ford did ultimately merge with New Holland, and Case and New Holland are one company now so it makes sense I guess
Great job Steven 👍Merry Christmas to you all 🎄 and a Happy New year
Thank you, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too
Nice to have good help there...
Always nice to have good help
Great job
Thanks Craig. I'm sure he would have rather had a TW on the cart but he did pretty good in the 4555
It’s just not right he has a IH sweatshirt on while driving the John Deere. Haha
Great job Steven
Merry Christmas all

@@mikep7810 You should put ag cams from Dakota micro on the grain cart for backing up or driving down the road

We are a small farm so all in all we run around 600
Mikeep7810 what state do you live in? Looks alot like Kentucky?!
I live in Upstate New York. About an hour south of Farming Fixing and Fabricating
I guess I could have known. I've been to Fredonia/Dunkirk NY area a few times. Lol. Hard to tell in a video though.
